From the very beginning, she made it clear that we weren’t just another couple on her schedule—she genuinely cared about making sure we had the best experience possible. She saw the stress we were under and, more importantly, she knew exactly how to take that burden off of us. We booked the 30-day coordination service, and I cannot put into words how life-saving those final weeks were. Katelynn didn’t just step in—she took over in the best way possible. She handled every vendor conversation, checked every detail, and ensured that nothing was missed. But what truly set her apart was her uncanning ability to read the room and maintain peace when emotions ran high. Weddings bring so many personalities together, and at times, it felt like things could unravel. But she saw the tension before it even surfaced. She knew how to defuse situations with grace, how to keep everyone on track, and how to make sure that no matter what was happening behind the scenes, my husband and I felt protected. Her communication was honest and direct, and we valued that more than anything. And she didn’t just keep things running—she made our wedding better. She and her team made sure I ate, kept me calm, and even helped me pull off a surprise performance for my groom, handling every detail so I could focus on enjoying the moment. When unexpected challenges arose, they adapted seamlessly, pivoting without hesitation to keep everything moving forward. So when people ask me, “Was a coordinator worth the cost?” my answer is a resounding YES. My only regret is not hiring Katelynn sooner as a full planner. They were incredibly professional, friendly, and thoughtful throughout the entire planning process, ensuring that every aspect of our wedding day was flawlessly executed. Alyssia put together all of our centerpieces and even stuffing 100 adorable heart-shaped ziplock bags with golf tees while also putting out tiny fires, never alarming the bride and groom ensuring a perfect night. We weren't sure how we would be able to turn over the wedding we had spent 17 months planning, but Alyssia and her team put us at ease with their expertise. They met with us multiple times over Zoom leading up to the event, and Alyssia's husband even took beautiful spring engagement photos of us. On the day of the wedding, Alyssia captured amazing content videos that she turned into a reel for us within 24 hours. The week of the wedding I was in contact with Morgan who would be our official day of coordinator. Morgan ended up saving the day when our bartender cancelled on us last minute; she stepped in and bartended on top of coordinating. Then she was able to work with me to donate our flowers to a women’s shelter; a cause that hits close to home for me. I cannot recommend Avenue Design Studio enough!!

When I am not planning your event, I am spending time with my family or traveling. I have degrees in Accounting and Finance, and work as a financial counselor with the US Army. After going from finance to being a bridal stylist, I realized how rewarding being in the wedding industry is. Now I am planning your next event!

Rachael was our day of coordinator and truly went above and beyond! She provided and thorough and detailed timeline and was easy to communicate with. The day of the wedding everything on the timeline went perfectly (I didn’t even know that was possible!) and she was adaptable when I wanted to push things back or change something in the moment. There were some things she pulled off I’m still not sure how she managed! I can’t recommend her and Sa’Lise events enough for your event!

During the interview process something about speaking with Emerance made me and my now husband know they were definitely the planners for us. We hired this group as our month of coordinators since it had been a long engagement so a lot of planning was already completed by the time we hired them, but they took over right when I needed them. They asked every question to make sure they were ready for the big day, and during the venue walkthrough we were able to plan everything out.
