Velura Events was started by Rincy with the mission of having a wedding and event planning company that provides an "aura of velour", to create a positive atmosphere of comfortable luxury for all. After coordinating several prior events with success , Rincy created Velura Events to specialize in personalized event planning and event coordination, offering elegant services for luxury events. As a small yet growing company in Houston, we are dedicated to crafting unforgettable moments. Our passion lies in making your dream day come true, allowing us to be a part of your story and you in building ours as well.

I went through a difficult wedding planning process myself and learned from both my personal experience as well as loved ones experiences how a wedding planner can make or break a wedding day memory. Having a reliable wedding planner who has proper follow through on your true desires and vision for the day really impacts how you both will look back on your day for years to come. I do not want to repeat the experience which happened to me . Prioritizing what the couple wants over what someone else thinks is more important, that is what makes me different from other planners. You the couple are my priority, no one else.

    My now-wife and I had contacted Velura Events a few months after I proposed to her. My wife has a friend who knows Rincy. I’m glad for that “one degree of separation” because I don’t think my wife and I would have felt comfortable or assured with any other wedding planning company. Velura Events was professional, organized and resourceful. They were very straightforward in their communication. Rincy and her team explained everything in simple and transparent terms. Furthermore, they were very agile in accommodating the numerous difficult circumstances my wife and I had been facing during that period. I don’t think any wedding planning team would have been as adaptable and empathetic as Velura Events. It really astounded my wife. But I’m thankful because it allowed us to breathe easy. The day of our wedding exceeded all expectations. The schedule was organized and ran seamlessly. The decorations were absolutely stunning and the overall decor was marvelous. The food was beautifully arranged and tasted delicious. Both my wife and I have “difficult-to-please” relatives and yet they didn’t utter a single complaint. That in itself is a miracle! My wife and I are just so grateful for Velura Events for making our special day extra special. I’m glad my wife’s friend recommended them and now I’m more than willing to recommend them to any engaged couple looking for a wedding planner.

    I can’t thank Velura events enough for making my cousin’s birthday bash such a special and stress-free experience! From the very beginning, they were organized, creative, and attentive to every detail. They took the time to understand exactly what I envisioned for my cousins birthday and brought it to life even better than I imagined. The decorations were beautiful, the schedule ran smoothly, and all of the little touches (from coordinating vendors to keeping guests engaged) made the day feel effortless. I was actually able to relax and enjoy the celebration instead of worrying about logistics.
