If you are looking for a stunning, outdoorsy, rustic, natural venue that also has all the modern conveniences that you’ll want on your wedding day, look no further than The Mohicans! It was absolutely perfect for us! Due to having our wedding on a weekday, we were able to reserve the venue the day before our wedding to be able to set up and have everything ready early, which was a huge plus. Their vintage rental room is an absolute treasure trove of decorations, signs, candles, and anything else you can think of that you would need to decorate! For what you have access to, the rental price of it is a huge cost saver! Everyone we worked with was kind, friendly, helpful and very accommodating. From Laura, to Amanda, Emma, Ellie and the extremely helpful woman who we had for our two planning visits, we felt welcomed. Don’t pass up the chance to have your wedding here! All of our guests raved about it! We had a rainy, late fall day for our wedding, & the pictures & day couldn’t have been more perfect!

The owner was easy to work with, gracious and very accommodating. The venue was clean and well appointed. Our guests came from many areas of Ohio and all were impressed with this hidden gem. It was quaint and charming. I would recommend 2 East Main St. highly and will definitely use it again in the future.

"More than just food"! We are a family owned business which has been serving Waldo, Ohio and surrounding communities for over 25 years. The business actually began back in 1981 with roasting a pig over an open fire in the back yard for a class reunion. Word of mouth spread of how delicious the meat was and it was quite a conversation piece. In 1999 our catering boomed, and blossomed into a banquet facility where we could catering and host beautiful weddings and events. We got married on October 31st, 2020, and while planning a wedding that year was full of ups and downs and confusions for a multitude of other reasons, All Occasions was a beacon of reliability and clear communication that we were very grateful for. Everything tasted great, many of my guests complimented the meal, and I really love how the table décor looked. As our wedding was Halloween themed, I invited the staff to dress up, and I was happy to see that they did and also had a good time. Friendly, Skilled, and Flexible, I would absolutely recommend All Occasions Catering to anyone planning an event or wedding. My wedding reception was one of the best nights of my life, and I am thankful for the role they played in it.

Personal and attentive to detail. Easy to work with, had a lot of dietary restrictions to work within and they were more than accommodating. Communication was responsive. Working with them sometimes I get to test new recipes from Fresh herb bread to Filet that melts in your mouth. You can cut it with a spoon. It's that tender!!!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Meeker’s Venue. The staff, the venue, the services offered, and for the price?? Cannot be beat. They are a family that truly cares about your day and your vision. As someone planning our wedding from out of town they were so flexible through the planning process. They’ve done this so many times they really think of everything, absolutely nothing on my day went wrong. I cannot thank Tess and John enough. My only note as something to know for a future bride is that while we LOVE the vintage look/feel off the bell tower, watch your white dresses on the floor! It’s a little dusty up there! Nothing we couldn’t buff out but just a note!

The staff at Galaxy did a great job working with us to customize our booking for our small wedding. We booked the Wine Cellar which was the perfect size for a small, intimate reception and we still had plenty of room to add bar service. Our bartender was fantastic and really added to the fun of our event, and the other staff were super attentive and great to work with as well. The food was fantastic and our guests really enjoyed the whole evening.

Brookshire made our wedding planning process a breeze. Our engagement was a total of almost exactly 6 months, and we could literally not have done it if we did not book with Brookshire. They made scheduling with vendors SO easy, including a vendor preview were we were able to see the venue's examples of vendor work, sample some of the dishes on the menu, and really visualize the space. They handled my questions quickly, and concisely, and were really quite reasonably priced, considering the things you get when booking here. On the day of the wedding, everything was so smooth. The venue was set up perfectly, and any changes we needed to make were done swiftly and well. They made sure my husband and I got to sample all of the food we ordered, including each layer of cake. They truly take care of you down to the details, like bringing you a glass of water during your photos. The vendors they work with are exquisite in their own right too, the food and cake were delicious, the DJ was so professional and kind, and the florals were gorgeous. Our add-ons were amazing, and our guests LOVED the photo booth that we added. The bartenders were wonderful, and kept the drinks flowing all night without issue. Everyone left saying it was a "perfect wedding", even the hard-to-impress ones. Brookshire was truly worth every dollar spent.

The outdoor wedding area is an amazing setting. The venue overall is elegant and a must see! We thoroughly recommend New Albany Links Golf Club and team for an amazing celebration location.

The Renaissance Columbus Westerville-Polaris Hotel was an excellent choice for our wedding venue. Their communication was quick, informative, and always helpful, which made the planning process seamless. The quality of their work and value was outstanding - the venue was beautiful and clean, and they were able to flip a room quickly and you couldn’t even tell we were in the same room for the reception! The venue really transformed! We were running behind schedule and they were quick to give us extra time so we didn’t have to rush our schedule. Also there is a small lake behind the venue which is stunning, you will not need to leave the venue for family photos after the wedding! They had plenty of staging rooms and an unexpected but appreciated compliment I got from our guest was how good our cocktail hour was, we had indoor and outdoor areas to relax and mingle! My one criticism is, we did find that they could improve the transparency around the financial aspects of the process, as we felt they were not the best stewards of our wedding budget. Despite this concern, I’d still choose them again, they barely hesitated to fix or clear up any concerns we had along the way and I’m sure they will continue to improve in this area. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience at the Renaissance and would recommend them to any couple looking for a stunning wedding venue with excellent service.

My husband and I got married on June 14th of this year. After doing quite a bit of research online for venues and visiting several as well, we decided to book our big day with The Wenbeck. From our initial meeting to the big day, communication was phenomenal. Skyler and Alexis were both extremely supportive, knowledgeable, positive and energetic which helped to make our day feel as special as possible. We felt that compared to other venues the pricing was competitive and Skyler was transparent about what their options included. There were no hidden extra costs/fees. Their facilities are very nice. We chose to have our ceremony and reception on site. For the ceremony, we had the choice of having it inside or outside. Outside they have a beautiful stamped concrete patio with a pavilion that overlooks their golf course and pond. We were planning to set seating up on the patio in front of the pavilion but there was a large risk of storms that day. We moved our ceremony into the pavilion. It just so happened that it ended up being a beautiful afternoon, however the pavilion provided perfect shade for us and our guests. The reception took place inside the main building and provided ample space for our just over 100 guests. The bar, buffet, dessert table, guest book and DJ were set up in different locations which allowed the guests to move around without being crowded in any area of the venue. The sun sets on the back of the building which provides for beautiful sunset photos on the golf course, as well as a gorgeous view from the venue as it has large windows across the back overlooking the golf course. Both Skyler and Alexis helped to keep things moving smoothly all day and it truly meant the world to us. From their help with setup, to relocating ceremony flowers to the main building for the reception, relocating signage and helping reload the film for our polaroid guest books and chatting with our super inquisitive nephew. They truly provided a wonderful experience.

She can provide the couple with everything they need to host a successful event. Ten Fifty Eight Event Center hosted our wedding shower & reception. We have used both spaces they offer (The Encore room & the ballroom). Their prices were very affordable and also included setup/tear down, linens, and use of their decorations room. The food and alcohol packages were extensive with multiple customizable options offered. Every step of the way, the event coordinator, Bella, communicated expectations professionally and with great detail. Bella was always available for questions and we received quick responses each time. The large dance floor and photo booth were a big hit for guests at our wedding reception. Thank you Ten Fifty Eight staff for being so accommodating!

We love working with couples at Nationwide Hotel for several reasons. First, it is logistically so much easier for couples to have everything taking place in one location. They can stay overnight the night before, get ready there, ceremony, photos, reception, and then afterward all of their guests can stay right there. This means there is no need to coordinate guest transportation, off-site hotels, bridal party transportation for photos, or have an elongated break for photography after the ceremony since it is much faster to do on site. Second, there are plenty of outdoor spaces for couples or bridal party photos if it rains! This is a huge advantage that not all venues have and rain is a real concern for an Ohio wedding. Third, there is a variety of spots on the property for doing group or couples photos. You can have the look of brick, green lawn, the beautiful pergola with all the greenery, the iconic covered walkway, some flowers, a tree-lined area where the leaves change colors SO perfectly in the Fall, and of course the fountain! By the way, the pond is amazing for sunset photos! We have been at Nationwide many times as photographers and always had a great experience. The food was always hot and served on schedule, and their staff is so friendly and genuinely wants to create the best experience for their guests. You cannot go wrong with any of their event spaces!

Whitehall was the perfect choice for our wedding! I was apprehensive about having a big wedding at all and was perfectly content with eloping or going to a courthouse, but ultimately decided to have a wedding for our families and the memories. Julia at Whitehall made this entire experience such a dream for my now-husband and I. She’s the venue coordinator but is also an angel that every bride deserves in the months leading up to her wedding and on her wedding day. She answered every stupid question I had very quickly, and is on top of things with sending emails to remind you about scheduling your rehearsal, nailing down your timelines, etc. One of the best parts about this venue is that you drop all of your decor off on the Tuesday before your wedding and they set everything up for you throughout the week! I literally didn’t have to think about a thing and could just spend the days before relaxing and tying up loose ends! We didn’t even nail down our vision for the centerpieces and most of the decor until 10-14 days before the ceremony, but Julia absolutely nailed it and everything was so beautiful! The day of the wedding, her assistant, Brenda, checked in on us while we got ready to make sure we were doing okay and she was the sweetest and just as organized and on top of it as Julia was. Before, during and after the ceremony, as well as during the reception, Julia checked in with my husband and I so many times to make sure we were okay and got us drinks if we needed it. She took so much off my plate mentally the week of my wedding and that was just so special and I appreciated it in ways I don’t know how to explain in 3500 characters or less. This venue has a caterer that comes with it (Taste of Excellence) who were also great to work with, and not having to make that decision was insanely helpful. I mostly dealt with Mikaela and she was very helpful with all of my questions and even accommodated us to schedule a second food tasting (something I don’t think they normally do) because my parents wanted to completely change the food options after the first tasting lol. Whitehall also has a DJ company included (Selective Sound Entertainment) who were great as well! Their online portal to actually select your song requests is a little dated and, you only get 8 “must play” songs, and the rest are more like suggestions for the DJ during the party but to be honest our DJ Jordan kept it bumping all night and it was SO fun he even had the bartender dancing with us from her station! I really couldn’t imagine doing our wedding anywhere else. I can’t recommend it enough and I’ll scream it into the sky for anyone who will listen!
