DJ 6th Sense is a native of New Orleans, LA. He has always had a passion for music that feeds the soul since birth. His earliest memories of deep musical inspiration were riding around with his uncle on Sundays, while listening to old school music. 6th Sense served in the USN for 10 years where he was blessed with the luxury of hearing a variety of different styles of music from different places, which translates to his unique spin on being an open-format DJ. Rob Montgomery has over 20 years of experience in the music industry. He studied music and engineering at Ohio State University. After school he worked as a Mechanical Engineer in the steel industry for 5 years. Living in New Orleans fueled his passion for music, and in April 2017 he left the steel industry to pursue music full time. His inspiration ranges from jazz, funk, soul, rock, blues, and much more. His diverse experience and fun loving character helps drive the focus of Sunny Side while still allowing time for several other music projects.

It began in 2005 originally with humble beginnings only having three members walking around the 7th ward playing out of the love of the music.
