DJ 6th Sense is a native of New Orleans, LA. He has always had a passion for music that feeds the soul since birth. His earliest memories of deep musical inspiration were riding around with his uncle on Sundays, while listening to old school music. 6th Sense served in the USN for 10 years where he was blessed with the luxury of hearing a variety of different styles of music from different places, which translates to his unique spin on being an open-format DJ. A true fan of cultural diversity, 6th Sense sets shine when in his preferred gumbo melting pot-type environments, where his musical selections can reach out to all the people at once.

    You must book Ronell! This man is talented beyond measure and really nailed the music for our reception. It can be hard when you have a mixed generation wedding to ensure you capture music that you love, but gets everyone on the dance floor and Ronell, absolutely not only understood the assignment but surpassed every expectation we had. We had guests raving about the music and energy he brought all night and he kept the dance floor packed, hyped, and smiling! From a logistics and administrative pov, it was so easy to work with him. He also spent a lot of time trying to understand our vision, and what wasn't the vision (equally important) He was quick to respond to calls/texts/emails and was incredibly accommodating if we had a change or idea we wanted to incorporate. We highly recommend working with Ronell. We vetted about 6-7 other DJs in our search and while there may have been more experienced DJs we looked at none had more interpersonal connection, breadth of music knowledge, and pricing packages than Ronell. This man deserves to be booked and busy all of 2026 because you can't have as fun and memorable of a wedding with out Ronell as your DJ! This man brought the energy, the soul, and completely set off our reception to be such a magical event that we will cherish forever!

    Trust the glowing reviews! Ronell (aka DJ Sixth Sense) is a true gem of a person, period. As a DJ, he meets with you to get to know what vibe you want for your event and executes on that vision flawlessly. In our case, he had multiple guests at our wedding commenting to us afterwards on how he brought EVERYONE to the dance floor eventually. Ronell is particularly adept at appealing to guests with a diverse range of musical tastes, to make everyone feel included. At the end of the night, you'll be so happy you chose to work with him!!

    Hiring DJ 6th Sense for our wedding was one of the best decisions we made. From the moment the night started, the energy was perfect, every song flowed naturally, every transition was smooth, and the energy was lively the entire time. They read the crowd perfectly and knew exactly when to switch it up. Communication leading up to the day was easy and stress-free. They listened to what we wanted, respected our do-not-play list, and still managed to elevate the entire vibe beyond what we imagined. The timing for our entrances, special dances, and announcements was flawless. Friends and family are still telling us how great the music was.     Hands down the best DJ ever! People were so excited to dance to the music selections, they were getting up during dinner to run to the dance floor. Ronell took the time to get to know me and my husband before the wedding and the music he played demonstrated that. He was also an expert at sensing the vibe of the crowd and playing what would keep the party going. The dance floor was full for the entirety of the event, even the none dancers joined in. If you want to have a great time dancing the night away, the best decision you’ll make for your wedding (or any event) would be to hire DJ 6th Sense!
