Sara from Muse Art Co. is a dream for anyone planning any event. Her creative vision is truly incredible, and she did absolutely everything to bring our wedding alive. I was in absolute awe (and tears) when I saw my bouquet on our wedding day, and even more so when I saw our ceremony and reception spaces. I loved that she also repurposed our gorgeous ceremony flowers so they could be enjoyed throughout the night! Sara communicated with me throughout the entire planning process and made sure that we were on the same page. She created a gorgeous mood board to begin the design process with only a few key words. Little did I know, she was going to blow everything that I could have expected out of the water! Sara is a true artist, and has a creative vision unlike anyone I have ever known. Her design has life, movement, love, and she can truly transform a space. Sara is the hardest worker that I have ever met, and she puts her blood, sweat and tears into her work. I could not recommend Sara and Muse Art Co. more. Thank you so much!

Rachel was amazing to work with and extremely talented. She spent so much time speaking with my husband and I about exactly what we wanted. We sent her inspiration photos and she really brought our vision to life - and then some! The arrangements were more beautiful than I could have imagined. The wedding that happened after our send off brunch wanted to take our arrangements for their wedding!! Others at the resort walked by and asked to take photos. Our florals were one of the most talked about features of our wedding by our guests and we owe it all to FlowerWorks! Rachel was early and quick with set up. We had absolutely no issues working with her, it was a beyond pleasant experience and I keep trying to find a reason to hire her again!!

With over 6 years of experience working with flowers & many years spent admiring their unique beauty — my love for florals is not thin. I was so overwhelmed when I first started looking for florists for our wedding. There are so many options, and I didn’t even know where to start until I found Poppy. They break down the process and steps, making it super easy, almost to the point that it doesn’t feel real. To start, you meet with a floral consultant where you talk through your wedding details, the vibe you’re going for, the general needs, etc. Then they walk you through a list of various wedding floral options: bouquets, table arrangements, signage florals, ceremony florals, etc., and you start to narrow down what you want. In each section, they have a grouping of photos, and you can either select something from that or ask for more options. You can also tweak what they have shown (I picked florals that had eucalyptus in them and requested everything be switched to ruscus). After that, you have a while to go back in and adjust until a deadline, but they accommodated some last-minute adds I had as well. Our consultant was Sophia, and she was super responsive and wonderful to work with. Closer to the wedding, you get assigned a local florist who does the actual designing/styling and installing, and we were lucky enough to get Ron, who matched our inspo images EXACTLY. Everything was so beautiful, and I was so in love with my bouquet. He was also incredibly nice and set everything up so quickly. If you’re looking for something to make the whole floral selection easy, simple, and beautiful (also super transparent with costs), definitely go with Poppy!!

The granddaughter of two gardeners, I have always felt a connection to the earth through the soil. When someone brings flowers into a room, something changes...an energy, an excitement! I love being able to bring that kind of beauty into peoples lives. I'm a small-town girl who enjoys anything that involves working with my hands from cooking to knitting. I'm a total animal lover (partial to dogs), a die-hard Grey's Anatomy fan, and I take my martinis extra dirty. When I'm not flowering in our studio in Milford, Connecticut, I'm mommin' to three amazing little boys (our dog Pippa and cat, Galaxy).

The setup and overall design was absolutely beautiful - especially our ceremony arch! We are absolutely thrilled with the floral arrangements from Rebel Rose for our wedding! From the initial consultation to the final setup, the entire experience was exceptional. Tracy has an incredible eye for design and truly understood our coastal meets Bridgerton vision. She created stunning bouquets, centerpieces, and alter arrangements that perfectly complemented our wedding theme and added a touch of elegance to every detail. The flowers were not only beautiful but also fresh and vibrant, making a lasting impression on our guests. What really stood out was her attentiveness and dedication to bringing our ideas to life. I had collected more vases than I had originally planned on and Tracy ran with it. She made vignettes of large vases and bud vases, taking a fresh spin on things by using one flower type per vase. Her suggestions turned out even better than I imagined. Tracy’s professionalism and passion for her craft was evident throughout the process. The florals were one of the highlights of our wedding day, and we are so grateful to Tracy for her exceptional work. Working with Emily at Bell Brook Farm & Floral Design Studio was a choice we are so happy we made for our wedding day! I (bride) had seen their work at someone else's (Fall) wedding a couple of years back and the arrangements stuck in mind ever since... So I called! In preparation for our special day, we had a call with them to go over our aesthetic ideas and needs. Not only did the call help provide them with our hopes for the day, but it also helped give us a lot of valuable advice and suggestions that we ended up going with. Emily was great in her response, ability to accommodate some last minute changes, and meet our budget. On the day of our wedding, the flowers and foliage EXCEEDED our expectations. The arrangements matched our color scheme perfectly and gave the rich, summer garden vibe I was hoping for... honestly better than I could've imagined. When it comes to the logistics, BBF&FDS were very clear and upfront about costs and order of steps/information needed. They made sure to do their research on the venue's procedures and setup/broke down as scheduled. I definitely suggest using BBF&FDS for your special events! They are so talented and can make a bold, yet delicate, statement with whatever your vision is.

Zoe and Gabby did the florals for my wedding in June 2024. All of the florals were absolutely stunning. I was absolutely obsessed with my bridal and bridesmaids bouquets. They used my pinterest board to truly create the bouquets of my dreams. Everyone in the reception were commenting on the table florals as well. Zoe and Gabby were so easy to work with. I had a ton of questions about different options such as bud vases vs. compote bowls, hanging florals, arch florals and more. They were both so patient with me while I figured out what I wanted. I also changed my vision from when we first spoke and they were so easy about the changes. I really loved supporting a local, women owned business. I also loved that all of the flowers were grown locally. I couldn't recommend Sterling Flower Farm enough.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Lindsay was so amazing to work with! We hired her to do the flowers for our very small wedding, and the flowers were pretty much our only decor. Everything turned out so stunning. I only showed her a couple of inspiration/general ideas, and mostly told her that we just wanted bright seasonal (August) flowers, and to go ahead and do whatever she thought was best. We didn't have a set color palette since we didn't have a wedding party, so she really could choose whatever she wanted. This was the best decision I could have made because everything was even more beautiful than I could have imagined! Trust me, if you're not a picky bride, ask Lindsay to surprise you and you won't be disappointed!

Lauren Flanagan Design

5.0

  • Starts at $3,000
  • Serves Farmington, CT

Forever a lover of nature, I draw inspiration from the natural world and am most at peace and at home among the plants and trees. I love spending time outdoors, hiking with my dog, and working in my garden growing food and flowers. I have a life long passion for art and design and have worked as an artist for much of my life. In 2013 I found myself fusing my love for art and flowers when I began working in floral design. I quickly fell in love with the ritual of creating with fresh florals. In the years since, I've had the opportunity to hone my skills and style and provide unique and gorgeous designs for some wonderful couples.

Awarded Best of Zola
I don’t even know where to begin—words feel small compared to what Lauren created for our wedding day. From our very first consultation to the final breathtaking reveal, they went above and beyond to turn our vision into pure magic. As a bride, I had ideas, inspiration photos, and a Pinterest board full of hopes—but Lauren brought all of that to life in a way I never imagined possible. Every single bloom, every arrangement, every petal was thoughtfully placed and perfectly chosen. Walking into our ceremony and reception spaces was like stepping into a dream. What truly set them apart was not just her talent (which is unmatched), but their warmth, passion, and attention to detail. Lauren listened—really listened—to what we wanted, and then elevated it in the most elegant and personal way. The bouquet was absolutely stunning (it felt like it belonged in a fairytale), the ceremony florals took our breath away, and the reception flowers had our guests gasping and taking photos all night long. We received so many compliments from family and friends, but more importantly, we felt completely surrounded by beauty, love, and intention in every floral touch. It felt like us—romantic, joyful, and full of heart. To anyone looking for a florist who will not only deliver beautiful flowers but also pour love and soul into your big day—this is your person. We are endlessly grateful and couldn’t have asked for a more perfect floral experience. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

She was always open to feedback and ideas, and we met multiple times leading up to the wedding to make sure everything felt just right. She was flexible when I wanted to make small tweaks, which made me feel so comfortable and supported. On the day of the wedding, she arrived on time, worked efficiently, and my coordinator even mentioned how wonderful she was to collaborate with. Erica is incredibly talented - a true artist - and I’m beyond grateful for the magic she created. I can’t recommend her and her team highly enough!

Anthology On Main is an alternative paper florist, specializing in flowers handmade from book pages! Although my business is based in Kansas, I ship flowers all over the US! I handcraft your wedding flowers from the pages of your favorite books, using your favorite flowers (no matter the season) and in your choice of colors! We'll work together to create truly unique keepsakes from one of the biggest days of your life. As a cherry on top, my flowers don't require any preservation after your wedding day and will last for decades to come!

Katie was amazing to work with! She helped tailor our flowers to keep within our budget, and they came out AMAZING. I'm so happy I get to keep them as an amazing keepsake. Everyone at the wedding was floored that they were paper and not real. And having quotes from our favorite books to look at all day was just a memorable experience.
