“My fiancé and I were looking for a rustic wedding venue, not a ballroom, preferably a venue with space to be outside (weather permitting). We visited a few options in the Philly area and fell in love with the John James Audubon Center! The space offers SO many options for an outdoor or indoor ceremony. They host receptions in the pavilion which is open with huge windows and firepits outside! The site is beautiful, and everyone we’ve worked with has been immensely helpful! After officially booking for our October 2024 wedding, we planned to visit with our parents. What was originally intended to be a quick stroll around the grounds turned into an impromptu tour with the venue manage. She answered all of our parents' questions and even brought out photo books of previous weddings for us to flip through together. With the wedding right around the corner now, we could not be more thrilled with our decision and can't wait to be there next month to celebrate our big day!”

“Barn on Bridge provided an exceptional experience for our wedding day! Amanda Frangoulis, our event manager, went above and beyond to ensure every detail aligned with our vision, including arranging a private tasting when my husband couldn’t attend the quarterly one. I provided a detailed menu that reflected my vision for a fall rustic wedding, and the culinary team executed it with incredible precision. For hors d’oeuvres, we selected salmon deviled eggs, southwest crab cake bites, lobster mac & cheese bites, Caprese skewers, and Mediterranean lamb burger sliders with tzatziki sauce. Our first course was an unforgettable butternut squash sweet potato soup with pumpkin seeds poured tableside over butternut squash cubes—a show-stopping experience! For entrees, we had spicy honey-glazed panko-crusted salmon, apple cider-glazed chicken, and butternut squash ravioli with brown sage butter sauce and toasted pine nuts, paired with kale & apple salad, garlic Parmesan green beans, and sweet potato mash (If you ever use these dishes, you’re going to have to credit Barn on Bridge and me!). Guests raved about the delicious and perfectly executed dishes, and I was thrilled to hear the culinary team plans to adopt some of my suggestions into future menus! Thalia, our day-of coordinator, ensured everything ran seamlessly and went the extra mile by preparing leftovers for us—a thoughtful touch that allowed us to savor the incredible food later. I also want to emphasize that successful weddings are a partnership. Often, dissatisfaction stems from a lack of clear communication, but this team is exceptional at walking you through every step. Brooke the wedding concierge was absolutely amazing as well. She was so supportive and helpful I’m so thankful she was with us the entire evening! She helped us with our couples portraits, grabbed us drink refills, and made sure we were having a good time! I also must say ALL the food we had was absolutely phenomenal. “We held my daughter's wedding at Whitford Country Club 10/14/23 and could not have been happier with the event. Our wedding coordinator Dawn was amazing. Throughout the planning process she was accommodating and flexible with meetings and tastings, working around our schedule as my daughter was living out of town. Her attention to detail was meticulous, incorporating our input at every step along the way. We received many compliments from our guests about the food, which was plentiful and delicious. In addition, we had to switch from the planned outdoor ceremony to indoors on 2 days notice based on a rainy forecast, and the transition was seamless with a beautiful set up for the ceremony, thanks to Dawn and her staff's very hard work being the scenes. The evening was everything we all had hoped for and I would highly recommend this venue.”

“First and foremost I have to recognize the staff who worked the event at the hotel. Katrina, who is the event coordinator, was wonderfully communicative and detail oriented. We wanted to keep things relatively simple for our wedding but she had some great ideas to spruce things up a bit and helped to keep us on track leading up to the day of. The evening prior and on the day she was helping us set things up and made sure to keep our chaotic group on schedule. Not only that she was extremely helpful in managing the group, helping to cue and time our processions and intros into the dining room after the ceremony. She also added a personal touch to the centerpieces by arranging some fresh flowers we'd brought in and I thought the result was lovely. As important as Katrina were all of the wait staff and bartenders for our wedding. Jordan, Dawn and Dinnea took care of dinner service and Doug and Debbie tended the bar. We interacted with Jordan, Doug and Debbie the most but we've spoken to friends and family who agreed that the service was excellent. I want to call out Jordan specifically because that dude was constantly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed from drinks to food. On top of all of that he was just one of the most pleasant and kind humans we could have asked for to take care of us that day. We'd also like to extend a big thank you to the whole group as we had some late arrivals who came in during dinner time. The staff immediately noticed and without any fuss went over to get their order and get them served. We had opted for a Delmonico steak and salmon as our primary entrees. Note that because of the volume of guests the Delmonicos were all cooked to somewhere around medium. I can't vouch for everyone's steak but mine came out perfectly medium. As far as I can tell from catching up with friends and family during and after the wedding everyone was pleased and really enjoyed their meals. We also really enjoyed the atmosphere that was created. We ended up choosing the Orchid(?) package, if I recall the name correctly, which is their all inclusive package and I think it was worth every penny. I really enjoyed the up lighting and hotel provided centerpieces but I can see how if you have a different vision in mind then you may want to opt for a different offering. On top of the work they did in the space the hotel has a couple of outdoor seating areas, one of which has a fire pit, that were favorites of the group to take breaks from the party rocking inside. Ultimately the most important part of our wedding day was to unite our friends and family in one place where we could party and then not have to worry about transferring from the reception venue back to the hotel. As far as we're concerned Katrina and her staff delivered on this want magnificently. From the maintenance of the hotel and event space, to the friendly and thoughtful staff, to the convenient location for our friends and family; we could not have asked for a better venue for our wedding day.”

“We are so happy we went with Springton Manor for our wedding!! To start, the planning process was made so seamless and easy to manage with Kelly Tobin as the coordinator. Kelly is responsive, organized, and knowledgeable, and made a process that can be overwhelming, much more manageable. Next, we can’t say enough good things about Queen of Hearts catering! The food was delicious, and guests were coming up to us saying it was the best weddding food they’ve had. My husband and I both got the braised short rib and it was amazing. It was also presented beautifully, and staff were professional and timely. Additionally, Master’s Baker, who does the cake for Springton weddings, was pleasant to work with and made a delicious (and beautiful!) cake for our ceremony. They worked with us to get exactly the vision we were going for. Finally, the grounds and manor house are truly stunning and timeless. We wanted to lean more into the “classy garden party” vibe rather than farm/rustic, which was totally do-able. You can really make the venue what you want. The scenery around the outdoor tent at sunset was incredible. We were worried about it being too hot with it being an August wedding, but with the breeze up on the hill and fans- it felt completely comfortable. We also loved how cocktail hour was under the trees/open space behind the manor house. This separated the cocktail hour from reception, which was under the tent, naturally and seamlessly. Overall, we are so so happy with Springton Manor and could not have asked for a better wedding day! Thank you to everyone at Springton Manor who helped make it possible!”

“General Warren was incredible, helpful, communicative, accommodating, and in all ways wonderful to work with. The space was beautiful, the food was delicious, drinks were lovely, the staff were so friendly and attentive. Their event manager Patrick was amazing, he made sure everything was perfect and that all our guests were satisfied. My husband is gluten free and they went above and beyond to communicate the options and make sure that his dining experience was safe without inconveniencing or restricting the rest of our party.
