I have been a photographer for the last 20 years, shooting weddings, elopements and portraits. I'm proud to have shot more than 150 same-sex weddings, which is probably more than, well, just about anyone. That said, I’ve worked with as many straight couples as LGBTQ ones. I don't discriminate. There are many other photographers whose work inspire me, but my primary inspiration comes from painters. Rembrandt, Vermeer, Sargent, to name a few.

I started taking pictures on my dad’d old film camera years beforehand and am proud to say I’ve photographed over 200 weddings, mostly on film. I also love to travel and have visited 26 countries so far. Thailand is gorgeous. I’m laid back, easy going, and know how to have fun.

Natalie is a Taiwanese-American photographer inspired by warmth & connection, reminiscent of her upbringing in Hawai'i. She graduated from NYU Tisch with a BFA in Photography while working alongside fashion designers & directors on editorial and campaign productions. For over a decade, Natalie has directed her lens towards weddings, finding a meaningful depth in the relationships that she develops with her subjects and the cultural & physical environments that surround them. Her background in fashion marries a tender, documentarian perspective to provide refined imagery with an editorial edge without compromising the truth of what happened.

Before I ever held a camera, as a kid I was obsessed with organizing and reorganizing printed family snapshots in albums. This infatuation with captured moments, led to picking out my first film camera, a 35mm Pentax, film developing and darkroom printing in high school, and then my BFA in Photography Degree. From there, I worked in varied sectors of photography, but my true passion lay in documentary work that could bring about awareness of challenging global situations. I have published and exhibited journalistic series internationally, notably at Oxford University and Aperture Foundation.

I've always been relationship driven. It's our connections with those close to us that makes our life's experience that much richer. It's no surprise that my clients naturally become a part of my family. There is no other industry in which I believe I am better suited.
