Photography for me isn’t just about taking pictures — it’s about feeling the emotions, the small details, the laughter and tears, and turning those into timeless memories. I approach every wedding with an open heart and a curious eye, wanting to see the beauty in every glance and quiet moment. I gently guide my couples with posing in a way that feels natural and comfortable—without pressure or anything forced—and offer tips to help them relax and be themselves.

I’m based in Ithaca, New York, but love traveling wherever your story takes you. Being part of your day, capturing those authentic moments that often go unnoticed, and helping you relive your special day through photos is what truly inspires me.     It takes trust to pick a photographer who will be the one to capture so many important moments. We are so grateful that we decided to put our trust in Julia. We hired Julia to photograph our wedding this summer at Celebrations Banquet Facility in Caroline, NY (15 minutes away from Ithaca). A few days before the wedding she offered to bring Leo as well to assist her in taking photos and we said yes! Leading up to the wedding we were in touch with her about which shots, items, moments, and group photos we wanted to make sure were captured, when we look back on our wedding day years in the future. She and her Leo captured all of these shots and more, and we are so pleased with how Julia adapted her unique photography style to us and the unique aspects of our relationship, our ceremony, and our reception. Julia is relatively new to the Ithaca area but has been picking up a satisfied customer base quickly! Whether you're an Ithaca local or having a Fingerlakes destination wedding, we highly recommend hiring Julia!
