This brief history highlights the Meeting’s evolution—its founding, growth, challenges, and renewal—while honoring the dedicated individuals who nurtured it across a century. Rather than detailing membership records or finances, this overview focuses on key events, buildings, community efforts, and CHFM’s place within the broader Quaker tradition. The Centennial timeline draws from the 75th Anniversary history compiled by Shirley Phillips and others, and was completed by Steve Elkinton for the 100th Anniversary. Unless otherwise noted, records come from CHFM business meeting minutes housed at Haverford College’s Friends Historic Collection.
