The Barn

The venue offers a unique space to exchange your vows in Grandmother's Park with guests looking on in the Courtyard among a beautiful sunset.

The Winthrop Barn Theatre offers both indoor and outdoor spaces to host an unforgettable ceremony and reception. Our event spaces include a spacious indoor banquet hall, the outdoor Courtyard, and Grandmother's Park, in addition to The Square. The indoor banquet hall, the Barn, provides a bridal suite that you and your bridal party can use to get ready and relax before the event begins. We have not left out the guys for they have a room to hang out in awaiting the start of the event.

    The Winthrop Barn Theatre was the perfect setting for our wedding day. They were so accommodating, even allowing us a last-minute hour to set up—which made all the difference. The venue was clean, spacious, and a beautiful canvas for the celebration we dreamed of. A great space for any couple looking for charm, room to dance, and excellent service

    The team at Winthrop Barn Theatre were so incredibly helpful from the day that I inquired about the venue. They were so accommodating and kind. We had a smaller budget for our wedding reception and I felt that the pricing for the venue rental was affordable. The deposit was also very minimal in comparison to other venues that we looked into. I liked that we had the flexibility to create our vision. One of my favorite things was the lighting. Our family and friends enjoyed taking photos at night in the courtyard out back. We had a lot of guests compliment the beauty of the venue itself as well as Winthrop Town Centre. The bathrooms were nice and clean. The preferred vendors on their list were great to work with. We were so very happy to have our wedding reception there and will cherish the memories made for years to come.
