💍 How far in advance should we book you for our wedding?

Most couples book 8–14 months in advance, especially for spring and fall weekends. Once your date is confirmed, we recommend booking as soon as possible to secure your spot on our calendar.

Do you work with assistants or other photographers?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We’re a husband-and-wife team — when you book me, you’re also booking my husband, who assists as a second shooter and manages the flow of the day. For larger weddings, we may also bring an additional photographer or content creator from our team to ensure every angle is beautifully captured.

Will you edit all our pictures?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Every image you receive is carefully hand-edited in our signature warm, timeless style. We don’t release raw or unedited files, as editing is a key part of our creative process. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening. You’ll receive around 40–80 fully edited images per hour of coverage, depending on the flow of your day and how many events or details you have planned.

Do you also offer video services?

Yes! You can add videography (our “Cinematic Chapter”) to any package. We also offer content-creation add-ons for short, behind-the-scenes clips perfect for social media.

Question 5

How long will it take to see our pictures?

Accepted Answer

My turnaround time varies by season. You’ll receive a 48-hour preview to relive your day right away! Full galleries are typically delivered within 4–12 weeks, depending on the season. Rush editing (72 hours) is available upon request. Within this time, you can also expect to receive a USB drive with high-resolution image files, so you can share the photos with your loved ones and order prints.

What’s your back-up plan if you can’t photograph our wedding as planned?

In our experience as a wedding photographer, we’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that we're unable to photograph your wedding due to an emergency, we have a trusted network of professional photographers and videographers who share our style and standards. We’ll handle all communication to ensure your day is seamlessly covered.

Do you travel? What are the travel fees?

Absolutely! We travel for weddings and sessions often. Travel fees vary depending on your location — for nearby mid-west cities, it’s often included in your package. For out-of-state or destination weddings, we simply add the cost of travel and lodging (always shared up front, no surprises!).

Yes, 100%. Every story is unique, and so should your coverage be. We can tailor hours, add video, drone, or a second photographer — or even create a full-day hybrid package that includes content creation and film highlights.

How do we book you?

Once you’re ready, we’ll send over your contract and a 30% retainer invoice to secure your date. The remaining balance is due two weeks before your wedding day. We also offer flexible payment plans to make it easy and stress-free.
