The Barn is a 4,000 square foot our air-conditioned reception space that will keep guest cool while still showing off that amazing lake view through the glass sliders surrounding the entire barn. The gorgeous crystal chandeliers give the perfect romantic glow for introductions and first dances. It's the perfect space to celebrate with your favorite people.

A Perfect Wedding Venue with an Incredible Team!
We couldnât have asked for a better venue for our wedding! From start to finish, everything was seamless thanks to the amazing team. Huge shout-out to Theresa, our wedding planner, for guiding us through every detail and making the planning process so smooth and stress-free. And an even bigger shout-out to Hector, our day-of coordinatorâhe went above and beyond to ensure everything ran perfectly, and we could just enjoy our day without a worry. The venue itself is beautiful, the staff is professional and attentive, and the entire experience was unforgettable. We are so grateful and would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to make their wedding day truly special!
Venue canceled, then tried to silence and smear us
We booked the venue over a year in advance. Weâre a queer, neurodivergent couple who approached planning with care, clarity, and respect. Four months before the wedding, they canceled on us â without warning, without a phone call, and without ever acknowledging the harm. When we shared our story publicly, they didnât apologize. They retaliated â with false accusations and character attacks. Hereâs what actually happened: During planning, we felt quietly âothered.â Heterosexuality was treated as the default. As a queer couple, we were never made to feel truly included. We werenât asking for special treatment. We were asking to feel like we belonged. Instead of engaging with us, they pointed to their five-star reviews and moved on. We asked logistical questions and made a small, reasonable request. We were told, âthe contract doesnât allow it.â When we reviewed the contract, there was no such clause. Later, both the sales manager and the coordinator admitted they hadnât read the contract â confirming what we feared: they were making things up to shut us down. Then communication stalled. Emails and calls went unanswered for more than a week during a critical planning window. We left a final voicemail, respectfully expressing urgency and asking for a reply. They never responded. Instead, they canceled our wedding. No phone call. No meeting. No explanation. They offered a refund â only if we signed a non-disparagement agreement. When we declined, they reversed course and sent the refund anyway. That speaks volumes. Then came their public response. They didnât address our concerns. Instead, they called me âaggressiveâ and claimed I had confrontations with staff. That is completely false. I was direct, clear, and respectful throughout. Iâm autistic and ADHD. Framing neurodivergent communication as hostility is not only inaccurate â itâs ableist. They also vaguely implied that another venue had canceled on us. That never happened. It felt like a smear tactic, not a response grounded in truth. What they havenât addressed: ⢠The silence after I disclosed my accessibility needs ⢠Their false claims about what was âin the contractâ ⢠The total breakdown in communication ⢠The lack of effort to repair or reconnect ⢠The emotional harm of losing our wedding plans ⢠The attempt to silence us with legal language This experience was deeply damaging. We lost more than a venue â we lost trust, time, and the joy we felt building our wedding. We had to start over from scratch. Then we had to watch ourselves be portrayed as âdifficultâ for advocating for basic respect. Their contract even includes a ânon-relianceâ clause: couples canât rely on anything said or promised unless itâs written into the agreement. That doesnât protect couples â it protects the venue from accountability. If youâre LGBTQ, neurodivergent, or simply expect professionalism and transparency: please take this seriously. Read the fine print. Ask direct questions. Donât assume a venue that markets itself as âinclusiveâ will show up that way when it counts. This review isnât revenge. Itâs a record. Everything Iâve shared is truthful, documented, and written in good faith. Every time theyâve tried to dispute it, Iâve won. Because I have the receipts. My review is the harm they didnât want to get out.
Perfect Events Venue
I own Spunky Spirits Mobile Bartending. We have been a vendor at The Barn at Crescent Lake since they opened. Everything is absolutely perfect at this venue. The air-conditioned gorgeous enclosed room, overlooking the lake. The bridal suite and grooms room are perfect! So many places to take pictures. The staff are professional and so passionate about what they do. This all comes down from the top, Michele the venue manager and Ralph the owner. I'd give it more stars if I could!
Breath taking
The Barn at Crescent Lake was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the first time we reached out, their communication was on point - they were responsive, helpful, and made the entire planning process a breeze. The venue itself was absolutely stunning, with beautiful rustic decor and a serene lakeside setting that created the exact romantic vibe we were going for. The value was outstanding as well, as we felt we got an incredible space for a very reasonable price. Our guests raved about the beauty of the barn and grounds, and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. Highly recommend The Barn at Crescent Lake for any couple looking for a picturesque and well-run wedding location.
