About this venue

West Milford Farm is named for Lightner West, who built the historic home around 1900 and the Milford family, who have lived here since the 1930s. West Milford Farm is an award-winning events facility conveniently located in East Cherokee County, just north of the city of Milton. The property is assembled around the original folk Victorian farmhouse and six historic outbuildings including: Original barn dating to the late 1800s Glass greenhouse, built from reclaimed windows from a local cotton mill Beautifully renovated reception barn Original 1890s corn crib. The reception barn boasts a brand new catering kitchen with granite counter tops, air conditioned handicapped accessible restrooms with bridal dressing room and a huge brick fireplace as the centerpiece in our large banquet barn.

    West Milford Farm was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the very first interaction, the team was incredibly professional, friendly and made the entire planning process easy and seamless. Mary, the venue coordinator, was a true asset - she knew the space inside and out and helped us create a smooth timeline for the day. We were so grateful to find a beautiful, rustic space at an incredible value. And the flowers that Chad arranged were absolutely stunning, creating such a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We could not have asked for a better experience, and our guests are still raving about the beautiful venue and delicious food. I would highly recommend West Milford Farm to any couple looking for a stress-free, memorable wedding day.

    We absolutely loved having our wedding here. There was a different spot for each part of our ceremony, including a performance! Chad, the owner is amazing at flowers. The aesthetic is classy but quirky. It's everything we wanted and more for our big day!
