Stay far away from here
They are very helpful and accommodating when you are touring, but beware once you book. Spotty communication filled with incorrect information. It can take weeks or months to hear back, and they overcharge 5x industry prices for in-house vendors. The owner called me a “very particular bride” to my face during the food tasting, all because I followed up after a month to book my food tasting. When we toured, they told us to follow up the next month to book the tasting, which we did. When we hired a wedding planner to help us manage communications with the venue, the owner called me and then my partner (not in writing) to berate us because the wedding planner followed up on our behalf. She said that she did not have a contract with the wedding planner. We happily walked away from our 2,000 deposit and would advise anyone considering this venue to stay far away.

While we are disappointed to receive a one-star review, we appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns directly and transparently. Below is our itemized response to each point you raised. Regarding charges, pricing varies by date—especially on holidays. Premium dates like Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve typically carry higher rates due to labor and operational costs. From our very first conversation, we explained that New Year’s Eve is one of the most expensive dates, and we offered Saturday as a more cost-effective alternative. You chose to proceed with New Year’s Eve. As always, we provided an itemized proposal for your review and approval. If helpful, we can resend that original proposal for your reference. We encourage clients to compare options and are proud to offer flexibility, including allowing clients to bring in their own vendors—decorators, DJs, photographers, and cake artists—at no extra charge. Most clients appoint an event planner. If they do not, we’re happy to recommend one. To maintain client privacy, if a planner is added after signing, we require written authorization from the client specifying that the planner will be our point of contact and what details may be shared. This protects sensitive financial and contractual information. On Tuesday, February 18, we received an email directly from the planner requesting event details. You (the client) were not copied. Standard professional practice is for planners to include the client on introductory emails and indicate they’ll be assuming communication responsibilities, with the client’s acknowledgment. In this case, no such authorization was received. The planner requested access to contracts and payment records, so we contacted you immediately to request formal permission before sharing any information. As for the term “very particular bride,” this is a common industry expression for clients with clear, specific expectations. It reflects someone detail-oriented and decisive—traits we value and strive to accommodate. Our use of this term was intended as a compliment to your organization and preparation. Regarding the food tasting, our policy is to schedule tastings no earlier than six months prior to the event. At your request, we made an exception, arranging the tasting nearly 11.5 months in advance. Our chef expressed concerns about the unpredictability of future pricing. You selected January 21, 2025, at 6:00 PM. Despite severe weather advisories that day—including road closures, dangerous conditions, and a fatality reported on Fox 5 News—we honored your request. Our team remained until 8:30 PM to ensure a successful tasting and mock-up. Unfortunately, due to unsafe driving conditions, our team was unable to return home safely and had to stay overnight at a hotel. We can provide the hotel invoice to verify this. Despite these challenges, our priority remained delivering on our commitment. In response to the comment regarding “spotty communication filled with incorrect information,” the contract was signed December 13, 2024. Within 37 days, we signed, completed a detailed food tasting (with late-night snack options), and conducted a first mock-up on January 21, 2025. They decorated the hall exactly as we had envisioned, down to the smallest details. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure every guest was taken care of, including helping us stay on schedule and managing the event flow smoothly. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. We received so many compliments from our guests. The entire team made the wedding day stress-free and truly memorable. We are so grateful and would highly recommend Spring Hall to anyone planning a special event!

The communication with the venue coordinators, Sadaf and Alex, was exceptional - they were responsive, accommodating, and made us feel like family throughout the planning process. On the day of our wedding, their attention to detail and professionalism ensured everything ran smoothly. I truly don’t even know where to begin, but first, I have to thank God for Sadaf, Alex, and the entire event hall team. Choosing this venue was one of the best decisions we made, and I promise you will not regret having your event here! From the very start, I called, texted, and even showed up unannounced numerous times, yet both Alex and Sadaf were always so welcoming and patient with all my questions and concerns. Their kindness and professionalism were unmatched. But on the day of my wedding… I am truly lost for words. It felt as if I were their own daughter, and they wanted nothing more than to make sure my day was absolutely perfect—and it was! My guests are still raving about how courteous the servers were and how kind and professional the bartenders were. And I can still picture Alex and Sadaf smiling at me on my wedding day, making sure everything was just right.
