Sunset Tower Hotel offers a versatile setting for events of all scales — from intimate gatherings of 50 guests to large-scale celebrations accommodating up to 700 guests in total assembly occupancy.

Does the hotel offer outdoor space for events?

Accepted Answer

Yes, the iconic Terrace on the main level and Duke’s space on the 2nd level of the hotel features open-air settings, perfect for cocktail receptions or ceremonies.

Do you provide in-house furniture for events?

Sunset Tower Hotel does not offer traditional event rentals such as tables, chairs, or linens beyond our in-house furniture, which can be repurposed depending on event needs. For specific rentals, clients can work directly with a rental company or our team can help coordinate those arrangements.

Does the venue offer on-site catering/beverage package options?

Sunset Tower Hotel has exclusive in-house catering and many beverage package offerings. We do not allow outside catering, with the exception of specialty cakes. For specific religious or specific ethnic catering requirements, we do allow outside catering upon approval.

Sunset Tower can provide you with a list of our exclusive partners as well as a preferred vendor list.

Do you allow outside Vendors?

Sunset Tower does not allow outside vendors for food/beverage, as we have in-house catering only. However, if you have vendors that specialize in specific activations, entertainment and set-up, we can certainly allow this with further approval. We do require a certificate of insurance for all events

How much does it cost to rent the venue?

Pricing is based on a range of factors, including the overall scope of your event — such as guest count, food and beverage needs, load-in and strike requirements, and the date and season of your booking. Typical event pricing ranges from $20,000 to over $200,000, depending on size and scale.

Does your venue have on-site parking available for guests?

Sunset Tower Hotel does have onsite parking for all guests and vendors. Valet is required for 50 guests or more.

Does the venue have any décor restrictions?

Accepted Answer

No confetti, glitter, silly string, paint, spray paint, bubbles, fireworks, sparklers or stickers are allowed. Wood/Glass Safe Vinyl is allowed upon further approval. Flower petals can be used as décor only and cannot be used in replacement of confetti.

Does the venue have a liquor license?

Sunset Tower Hotel has a liquor license and operates its own bar. We do not allow outside liquor to be brought in; however, we do have a corkage fee for any wine or champagne brought in.

Does the venue have a curfew for events?

Yes. All events must conclude by 2:00 AM, with last call for bar service at 1:30 AM. In accordance with the City of West Hollywood ordinance, all music must be moved indoors by 11:00 PM.

Sunset Tower Hotel does not have onsite A/V equipment. Clients are more than welcome to bring in their own, or we can certainly provide a preferred vendor of ours.

Is there a venue coordinator available to help with event logistics?

There is an in-house Event’s team at Sunset Tower Hotel. This team will be your main point of contact up to your event day. Please note, we require most weddings and high-profile events to have a professional event or wedding planner unless otherwise approved.

What is included in the venue rental cost?

The venue rental at Sunset Tower Hotel includes exclusive use of the selected space for the full duration of your event, along with dedicated support from our Events Team throughout the planning process.

What is the deposit/venue refund and cancellation policy?

Accepted Answer

A signed agreement and deposit are required to confirm your date. Cancellations more than 60 days prior will receive a full refund. Cancellations 14–59 days out will be charged 50% of estimated charges. Cancellations within 14 days will be charged 100% of all charges.
