About this venue
Originally built as a livery and then used as a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick has reinvented itself as a unique stand alone, super-loft open to private events, outdoor wedding ceremonies and receptions, exhibitions and productions. It now boasts a flowing 7,000 square foot floor plan (4,500 sq ft interior + 2,500 sq ft garden courtyard) melding both interior and exterior areas. Millwick is an excellent event venue and wedding site for up to 175 people for ceremonies and receptions. Located in downtown Los Angeles in the heart of the Arts District, Millwick is convenient to many of the best new and historic hotels, restaurants and nightlife the city has to offer.

Courtyard Garden
A tranquil urban oasis
A private, understated garden entry leads guests down a winding exposed aggregate path to reveal Millwick’s tranquil urban oasis, a courtyard surrounded by mature trees, drought tolerant landscaping, 20ft brick walls and lush vertical gardens. This outdoor garden opens directly to the grand hall via two dramatically oversized glass roll-up doors. At night, the courtyard twinkles with energy-efficient lighting and the stars of Los Angeles.

Grand Hall
A sun-lit urban jungle with indoor-outdoor gardens and a floor-to-ceiling cinema screen
Nine large skylights float 20 feet overhead framed by soaring wooden bowstring truss ceilings. The 80-year-old patina on the exposed brick walls has been preserved and complements a series of completely unique, hand made, gold ceramic tile walls created by Tony Brown. Bathrooms and a private getting-ready suite are hidden away in amongst magic gardens.

Amazing Wedding Venue and Support Team
Millwick described their goal for our guest experience as "making it feel like each guest is receiving a warm hug from start to finish" and completely delivered on that goal. From initial inquiry through the wedding itself, the Marvimon/Millwick team knocked it out of the park. They were highly responsive to all of our various questions, were willing to meet or provide more information about the venue when we had some unique ideas, and helped the day of the wedding go off without a hitch. The Millwick space itself is a stunning oasis with some creative flair in the Arts District lending itself to many cool photos and an comfortable indoor/outdoor vibe for our guests. The Marvimon team had a host of resources and personalized recommendations to help us assemble our wedding vendor dream team during the planning process. Big thanks to Clare who was our dedicated point of contact and wedding design assistant. We truly appreciate the space and the team that made our special day even more spectacular
Everything we needed
Millwick was such a dream venue for us — we loved look and feel, the location, the courtyard bar and the bridal suite (non-negotiable for getting ready and taking a few minutes to ourselves among the chaos). The folks at Marvimon were so on top of everything and easy to work with. They checked in with us every step of the way, answered our questions, filled in the blanks where we needed, and provided us an amazing list of vendor recommendations that added up to a perfect night. My wife and I recently had our wedding at Millwick, and we could not have been happier with how everything turned out. From the beautiful outdoor-indoor layout to the lush greenery and its staff, I would 11/10 recommend any couple to consider Millwick as their wedding venue. More importantly, working with the staff (specifically Dana and Clare) has been an amazing experience. We got to customize the venue and design our day exactly how we wanted, and they were both there for us every step of the way. The Wedding of My Dreams
I have always dreamed of getting married at the Millwick and now that the day has passed it was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the very beginning, their communication was direct, clear, and easy - they were always responsive to our questions and available to help. The quality of their work was absolutely beautiful. I found it easiest to work with vendors that have previously worked there as they knew how each other operates and it made everything run smoothly especially when it comes to a planner and catering. The venue itself was stunning, and their team went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better wedding experience, and we highly recommend Millwick to any couples searching for the perfect venue.
