Our event spaces

The St. Regis

Located in the heart of Manhattan and steps away from Central Park, our refined atmosphere and gracious service rank us as the best address in the city and delineate the Roof as New York’s preeminent social ballroom.

Couples may invite up to 200 guests to celebrate with them in the indoor event spaces at the hotel. With 13 event rooms, there is no shortage of options to host occasions such as ceremonies, receptions, bridal showers, or engagement parties. Depending on the arrangements for seating, larger parties will most likely occupy rooms like the Versailles, Louis XVI A, or Maisonnette I, or the Versailles in combination with Louis XVI A and the Luis XVI Foyer. The largest and most popular wedding ballroom is the St. Regis Roof, which is located on the top floor and boasts cloud-dappled, vaulted ceilings and gilt chandeliers. Smaller rooms are available such as the Fontainebleau Room, Maisonnette I, Astor Suites, or Iridium I. Each event space features its own unique elegance and stunning attention to detail.

If I could give less than one star, I would. Our experience with The St. Regis Hotel as our wedding venue was nothing short of appalling and unprofessional from start to finish. What should have been one of the most special times of our lives was instead overshadowed by the venue’s constant mismanagement, lack of professionalism, and dishonesty. From the very beginning, we were made to feel like a burden rather than valued clients. The sales director, who was supposed to be our point of support, displayed unprofessional behavior and an unapproachable demeanor throughout the process. Shockingly, during our own tasting, this individual actually stated that they would “never get married here” because they “know too much.” This level of disregard and unprofessionalism from someone in charge of weddings at such a high-profile hotel is beyond unacceptable. Not to mention our wedding tasting should have been a private and intimate thing that was just for us to enjoy. Not to mention, the food they gave us at our tasting, was NOT THE FOOD we were given at the reception, which we have documented proof of. Equally disturbing was the dishonesty regarding what was included in our package. Promises were made in writing and then outright denied later on, with excuses and dismissals replacing accountability. Instead of transparency, we were met with misdirection and stonewalling. The billing department was yet another nightmare. Their incompetence led to repeated errors, and even after our wedding, they attempted to overcharge us in what can only be described as an attempt at fraud. We had to provide extensive proof, involve our accountant, and even consult legal support to resolve the situation—something no couple should ever have to deal with after their wedding day. For a venue that markets itself as luxury, The St. Regis Hotel in NYC failed at every level of professionalism, honesty, and basic client respect. They did not make us feel special, cared for, or even fairly treated. Instead, they left us feeling disrespected and taken advantage of. We could not even get a glass of champagne when we walked in on our wedding day to check into the hotel. I would strongly advise any couple considering The St. Regis Hotel for their wedding to look elsewhere. A day as meaningful as your wedding deserves to be handled with care, integrity, and professionalism—qualities this venue has repeatedly shown it does not possess.
