Deity is a full service wedding venue. We will provide a day of Wedding Planner, catering, DJ and just about everything else you need for a wedding.

About this venue

Deity Events is an all-inclusive wedding venue. The price you see listed is the price per person including gratuity, and don't worry there is no additional service or administration fees. Our pricing includes so much more than just space. Deity includes six hours of exclusive use of the venue, catering, event coordinator, furniture, linen and candle décor, Catering is provided in-house by the executive chef, who offers sit-down dinners as well as standing cocktail receptions.

Brooklyn artists create Art Deco in this vintage wedding venue for your cocktail hour.

Lounge space features a hand poured hexagon bar perfect for entertaining your guests. A Tree of Life dominates the the sunken lounge area with velvet banquette seating. Accented by custom stained glass windows, chandeliers, and candlelight. In-house Brooklyn catering brings it all together to enjoy a welcoming cocktail hour or standing dinner party. Our staff will pass hors d'oeuvres for an elevated experience for your guests.

Description

Booking with Deity includes six-hours of event time at the venue, with help from a day-of coordination team, in-house Catering with executive chef, for a seated family style dinner or a standing dinner cocktail reception. We have a full bar with a professional wait staff. This package includes a bar credit in the per person pricing. We include on-site furniture, linen and candle décor as part of the Wedding package, so little is needed to customize the space.

Build your dream wedding! Our minimum-spend package is designed to be more flexible for those couples whose plans might not fit a typical fixed price-wedding package. Perhaps your guest count doesn't match our typical minimum-guest requirement for a certain day. Perhaps you don't want to do a ceremony at Deity. Maybe you might want to do hors d'oeuvres rather than pay for a full sit down dinner. Maybe dancing is more important to you. Or perhaps you might not want to dance at all.

    We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Deity. The space is really eclectic in the best way. It balances elegance with a little Brooklyn quirk, especially in the cocktail hour room, which all of our guests loved. From start to finish, the planning process was simple and straightforward. You have one big meeting where everything gets laid out. After that, Anastasia, Caio, and the rest of the team were always quick to respond to emails when we needed to make adjustments. They were professional, organized, and made sure both we and our families felt taken care of throughout the day. Having almost everything in-house (e.g., everything less flowers, cake, photography) also made the whole process less stressful. Compared to other venues we looked at, Deity felt like a value and a way to make our guests feel like they were having an "authentic" NYC/Brooklyn wedding. The food and drinks were another highlight. The short rib was especially memorable, and the bar staff worked with us to create custom cocktails and pre-batch them so no one was stuck waiting in line. The DJ was flexible with our specific music tastes and vision for the evening and collaborated seamlessly when we brought in a drag queen for dinner, which turned into a huge hit with our guests. I’d also recommend booking the couple’s suite. It gave us a place to relax, get ready, and even host a pool party that added a really fun element to the day! Relaxing with our wedding guests earlier in the day was a really great way to connect with folks. Overall, Deity delivered on every level. We’re grateful to Anastasia, Caio, and the whole team for making our wedding day everything we hoped it would be.

    We had our wedding on May 5th 2024 and it was THE best day ever. We are so happy we chose Deity to host our special day. We decided to use the suite that they provide to get ready, we had access to it from 8am and our families brought food and drinks and we had breakfast together while everyone got ready, it was so much fun having our friends and family there, it is such a huge space it fit all of us very comfortably. I was very nervous but getting ready with my family and friends took all the nerves away, they provide two Bluetooth speakers so they boys listened to their music while the girls listened to our music. They day went so SMOOTH, there were no hiccups, everyone that works there made sure we had everything we needed and more. They somehow knew what we wanted before we said anything. The food!! Omg the food!! Everyone has not stopped raving about the food, they said it was the best meal they’ve had. The music, our Dj, Dj Ben Ha Meen had everyone on the dance floor until the very end, he played all the songs we asked and more. He was a great time. I was worried about the different floors, and that the older people would have a hard time going up or down but the staff made sure they were good and had a seat at all times. Days later our friends still tell us how fun and amazing our wedding was and I don’t think it would have been this amazing if we didn’t have it at Deity. Thank you Anna and the staff!

    My wife and I could not have dreamed of a better NYC venue. It combined the charm and the convenience that we feel living in this city every day. The Deity is a one stop shop and the most well-oiled machine. Our wedding was one of the largest sit-down dinners they've had at the venue and, given the challenge we imposed, everything was executed so seamlessly. We loved how everything was all in one place and so did our guests. Both wedding parties used the bridal suite to get dressed and ready. Additionally, maneuvering through the venue was so fun because every change in level felt like a different chapter of the night, each one better than the next. We loved how we took all of our photos on-site because of how aesthetically beautiful the venue was. There is no need to waste time going to elsewhere. Long story short, if you’re looking for a beautiful venue, in a great area, with staff that communicates, is upfront about costs, and makes you feel like royalty on your wedding day, the Deity is for you!

    I would give 5 stars if it weren’t for the negative interaction I had with the owner, Caio. After paying the deposit and signing the contract for our wedding, he refused to honor the menu promised to us by his manager Melissa. He said some very unpleasant things to me over the phone and probably should not be dealing with the public. With that said, our wedding was beautiful, the food was delicious, the day of coordinator made everything flow flawlessly, our guests enjoyed themselves and many told us it was the most fun wedding they had ever been to.
