The wall of Rose’s Room opens directly to the garden, offering a natural extension for guests to step outside and enjoy the serene environment. The kitchen prep area includes a sink, large commercial fridge, dishwasher, and an ice machine. This room is ADA accessible.

The Treehouse

Tucked among birch trees, our Carroll Hall treehouse hosts up to 6 guests with serene garden views — a hidden gem for intimate gatherings.

Nestled between the birch trees is our discreet wooden "treehouse" that can comfortably host 6 people. The treehouse is available as an add-on for any rental package. The path leading up to the treehouse is designed to encourage one to slow down and discover their surroundings. Inside the treehouse is a large window that opens onto the garden, and another window revealing a secret miniature garden. This limited access space is not ADA accessible.

The Mezzanine Lounge provides a relaxed, comfortable space for small gatherings or quiet moments during your wedding day. Whether it’s for private conversations or just taking a breather, this cozy area features comfortable seating and an attached private balcony, perfect for an intimate escape amidst the celebration. Lounge has a couch, two chairs, and a full-length mirror. The lounge is a pass-through area used by staff and some restricted access applies.

A Hidden Gem That Made Our Wedding Unforgettable

Carroll Hall was everything we wanted in a venue and more. We had passed by it many times, always wondering what was behind that tall brick wall. When we finally stepped inside, it was like discovering a secret garden—and we immediately knew it was where we wanted to get married. The garden itself is lush, artfully landscaped, and rich with detail. It feels like a living piece of art that evolves with the seasons, and we loved that it didn’t need much decor to feel special. At the same time, the space is fully customizable—a beautiful, flexible canvas that we could shape into something that felt completely personal to us. From our first meeting with Jalisa, we felt understood. She was warm, kind, and deeply engaged in our vision from day one. Throughout the planning process, she and Andrew were generous with their time—we were able to visit the space multiple times, walk through with our vendors, and work closely on all the logistics. They were endlessly accommodating, communicative, and open to our ideas. We incorporated some unique touches—turning the treehouse into a record room for guests to “shop” for vinyls, hosting private vows upstairs in the bridal suite, flipping the space throughout the night—and they helped us bring every detail to life seamlessly. They even worked with us on a signature cocktail that tied into the mood of the evening. Carroll Hall truly feels like a tucked-away dream in the middle of Bushwick. Our guests were in awe of it, and so many of our vendors told us it was one of the best venues they’d worked in. If you have a vision and want a space that lets you express it, this is the place. It’s cozy, expansive, and unforgettable—all at once.

It is always such a pleasure to work in Carroll Hall's space as a photographer. There is so much ambiance built into the venue both inside and out, and it is very unique blend of architecture/vibes that I don't come across elsewhere. The wooden/concrete/ceramic interiors plus the garden outside are a dream, and once you add in a crowd of celebrating guests the story starts to tell itself. Highly recommend as a unique and "chill" venue! The staff is also exceptionally awesome and goes above and beyond to ensure our wedding day will be stress free.

John, it's an absolute pleasure working with you. You're somehow nonintrusive at each event, but also present and able to capture all of the wonderful moments. Carroll Hall has worked with a large number of photographers during events, but John is one on a short list who we've hired ourselves. We can't recommend him enough.

Your reservation includes twelve hours from start to finish, including the time it takes our staff to set up and clean up.

All cancellations must be by written notice. Cancellation varies depending on the date of the received written notice but within 30 days, clients are 100% liable for total anticipated revenue.

Yes, you are required to have a professional day-of coordinator or a professional wedding planner who is onsite for your event. Carroll Hall does not provide a day-of coordinator. Our staff helps coordinate with vendors and oversee venue operations during your event.

There is limited street parking in the surrounding area so we encourage using public transportation or car service. There are two reserved parking spots available with your rental.

Carroll Hall is ADA compliant. All public spaces inside and out are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. The only spaces that are not on the ground floor are the private mezzanine and treehouse areas which are not accessible by wheelchair. There is also an ADA accessible bathroom with a changing table.
