Choosing to work with Melissa for our Sept. 25' wedding was the best wedding decision we could have made. From our very first conversation, Melissa was warm, bubbly, easy to connect with, and incredibly receptive to us and all of our ideas. Throughout the entire wedding planning process she truly listened, understood our vision, and helped us shape it into something even more beautiful than we imagined. While working with Melissa, what stood out most to us was how deeply we trusted her. My mom and I are both opinionated, detail-oriented, and typically very hands-on perfectionists - yet on the wedding day, we were shockingly calm, relaxed, and fully present. We didn't worry about a single logistical detail, and that is entirely because of Melissa and her amazing team. Knowing she was in charge allowed us to soak in every moment without stress, and that gift alone is priceless. I (the bride) was genuinely more carefree and stress-free than I am on a normal day — which says everything about how supported we felt. Melissa strikes the perfect balance - she offers expert guidance based on years of planning and executing weddings, but she is never domineering. She honors your preferences, style, and personality while sharing thoughtful direction when you need it. Throughout the planning process, we quickly realized and were frequently reminded that her reputation across NC is unmatched. Every vendor we spoke to lit up the second we mentioned her name and told us we were working with “the best of the best.” She is knowledgeable, organized, well-connected, and calm under pressure. Watching her in action, you’d think she could plan a wedding in her sleep — staying on top of countless little details, anticipating needs we never would have thought of, and keeping everyone around her calm and supported, all without ever losing her cheerful, grounded demeanor. We are beyond grateful for Melissa and would choose her ten times over if we had to do it all again. She made the entire process smooth, joyful, and stress-free and gave us the wedding of our dreams. Wedding planning can be stressful but dare I say, Melissa made it fun? She is so skilled and competent at what she does that you can’t help but relax. If you want honest advice, she will give it to you. If you don’t know what you want, she’ll guide you through all the options. If you know exactly what you want, she will support you and take care of all the mundane details. Melissa was there on the big day and ensured that my daughter’s wedding ran smoothly. KTS was seriously incredible throughout the whole wedding planning process and especially on our big day! Katelyn was an absolute rock star and managed the day so seamlessly!! She made everything so easy on us and truly the most perfect day- not a thing went wrong (at least if it did it was handled so well we never knew!!) we could not ask for more! So professional and such a fun crew. Would recommend Katelyn to everyone - 5 out of 5 stars!!!!
