Elgee Weddings was a huge disappointment for our wedding day. From the very beginning, their communication was indirect and lacking in problem-solving skills. They came across as unprofessional and like complete novices. The quality of their work and the overall value they provided was terrible. They contributed greatly to the stress of our big day - we weren't even offered a plate of food, they didn't have the cocktail table cloths set up, and the planner didn't even take the mic cover off before the ceremony. To make matters worse, they didn't even fluff my dress before I walked down the aisle or hand out my ceremony programs. I would not recommend Elgee Weddings to any couple planning their wedding. Considering perusing legal action against them. There was rain on my wedding but we had an indoor space that could have easily been moved too and she could have made the executive call and I had hired 2 other staff to help during a 60 person wedding. There poor decision making led to a terrible clean up leaving my husband and I cleaning up our own wedding reception in the morning, plates were not rinsed and linens shoved in boxes they didn’t go. Literally ruined our guest experience causing me emotional stress, anxiety.. all while I’m about to go on my honeymoon.

Great question! Elgee Weddings was founded by two friends with a shared passion for creating beautiful, personalized wedding experiences. Depending on the location and scope of your event, you may work with either Laura (based in Austin, TX) or Gabby (based in Seattle, WA), or both of us if we’re collaborating across cities. For your wedding, you’ll have one dedicated lead planner (either myself or Gabby), supported by trusted assistants or day-of staff as needed. We’ll guide you every step of the way and ensure you feel supported, excited, and stress-free throughout the process!

Yes, absolutely! At Elgee Weddings, we love being part of all the special moments that lead up to the big day. We offer planning and coordination for events like bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and more. Whether you need full-service planning or just a little extra help bringing it all together, we’re here to make every celebration feel intentional and beautifully curated. Let us know what you have in mind—we’d be happy to help!

We don’t take on more than one wedding in a day or weekend. Your wedding deserves our full attention, and we’re committed to being completely present and available for you. By limiting our bookings, we ensure every detail is handled with care and that you feel fully supported throughout your day.

The amount of time we’ll spend together depends on the level of service you choose, but no matter what, we prioritize clear communication and personalized support throughout the planning process. For full-service planning, we’ll be in touch regularly—think monthly check-ins, design meetings, vendor coordination, and unlimited email support. For month-of or day-of coordination, we typically begin working closely together about 6–8 weeks out, with planning meetings, timeline reviews, and final walkthroughs. Our goal is to make the process feel smooth, collaborative, and stress-free—never overwhelming.
