Thank you for your feedback. While we’re disappointed to hear you feel this way, we do want to clarify the circumstances surrounding your event for accuracy. Your wedding date was not double-booked. The team member originally assigned to your wedding was placed on medical leave unexpectedly. As soon as this arose, we worked promptly to provide a replacement coordinator, which was declined on your part. In regard to the floor plan, we communicated that we were unable to create a custom layout without receiving the original venue floor plan, which was not provided to us. Despite this, we made every effort to support your planning process with the information we had access to. While we always welcome constructive feedback, some of the claims made are inaccurate and could be considered defamatory. We’re hopeful that any public reviews reflect the full context and facts, and we kindly ask that future comments do the same. Our team puts a great deal of care into every client experience, and we remain proud of the work we’ve done for our couples. We genuinely wish you a beautiful marriage and happiness in your new chapter.

Thank you for taking the time to share your thoughts. I’m truly sorry to hear that you left your wedding week feeling disappointed — that’s never the experience we aim to give our couples. As we discussed during planning, Mari was your assigned lead coordinator and was fully prepared to execute the timeline and details we carefully organized together. While I understand it may have been unexpected not to see me there personally, I trust the team I put in place and am glad to hear that the assistants still did a great job on your day. Regarding the decor pick-up, while the original time did need to shift due to an unforeseen conflict, we made sure everything was picked up in time for your event. I understand that the communication around that could have been clearer, and I do apologize for any inconvenience that caused. It’s never our intention to add stress, especially during an already emotional week. As for your follow-up message — I did read it, and I appreciate the feedback. While I wasn’t able to respond right away, please know that your concerns were heard. I do my best to show up for every client with care and professionalism, but I am also human, and occasionally, things happen behind the scenes that aren’t visible to others. I genuinely wish you and your husband all the best. It’s clear you put a lot of heart into your day, and I hope it was filled with many moments of love despite the hiccups.

Hi Jess, We’re truly sorry to hear that you left your experience with Cotten Designs feeling this way. That was never our intention, and it’s important to us that we clarify what occurred on our end to offer full context. Throughout our time working together, we reached out on multiple occasions between November and May to request vendor details, schedule planning meetings, review your timeline, and finalize décor. We also provided several date options for an in-person venue walkthrough — but unfortunately, we did not receive a response until a last-minute date was proposed. At that point, we had a previously scheduled wedding out of town and were transparent in letting you know that Marissa would be offsite and unavailable. We offered an alternative date both the day before and the day after, and even extended the option of sending one of our trusted assistants in her place to ensure you were supported. We did not receive a response to these options. The next communication we received was your cancellation email, which we acknowledged promptly and respectfully. While we understood your frustration, it’s important to share that we made several genuine efforts to coordinate, meet, and support your day. Communication and client care are at the core of what we do, and we regret that you did not feel that reflected in your experience. We wish you nothing but happiness and love in your marriage, and we’re truly sorry this didn’t turn out how either of us envisioned.
