Hi! I'm Tia - Mom of 5 kids, 2 dogs and wife to the most supportive and amazing husband there is. In fact, you will often times find him carrying boxes, straightening linens, or even officiating from time to time. I started Capstone Occasions (aka-my crowning achievement) to help elevate your events to the top of your expectations. It could be a simple intimate affair to the grandest of parties, but whatever you are envisioning, it is my plan to execute it with every bit of intention and emotion that you have for it yourself.

Admiting to the number of years I have been doing this is a bit scary but it has allowed me to develop a strategy for success with events that provides my clients with the exact experience they are looking for. Starting out in the hospitality industry gave me a different perspective into collaboration for some of the most amazing events. With our proven formula and extensive list of amazing vendors, we take your wedding day and turn it into the experience of a lifetime.

    Tia and her team took our dream and turned it into reality. We went from panic g and stressing over wedding planning to feeling like we were getting everything we’re looking for. Tia and her team make the planning process incredibly easy. They also have your back during the big day. We didn’t have to answer any questions from our vendors because she showed up with a binder and ran the show for us so we can just enjoy the day. I’m a bit of a clutz and got jam on my brides dress during our cake cutting ceremony but none of our guests even noticed because Tia cleaned it off her dress literally while we were getting food. Her and her team work magic and we can’t recommend them enough.

    Tia and her team were the best wedding decision we could have made! She truly allowed us to be present on our wedding day and leave the day of details to her! Tia went above and beyond since day 1 of working together by answering all of our wedding questions (silly as they may be), attending vendor calls/meetings and calming our nerves. If you are thinking of hiring a coordinator- trust me just do it and choose Capstone Occasions for your big day! Tia felt like a friend through the whole process and we are so grateful we had her as a vendor!
