An Absolute Godsend–The Best Decision We Made
Hiring Tanya and her team, was without a doubt the best decision we made for our wedding! When my wife and I started planning our wedding, we knew we needed help—so we began meeting with a long list of wedding planners and coordinators. We spoke to many qualified people, but as soon as we met Tanya, the owner of bookmarkedweddings.com we instantly knew our search was over. She was by far the most impressive person we spoke to—organized, thoughtful, experienced, and completely in command of the process. We both looked at each other after our intro call and said, “This is it. She’s the one.” From that moment on, Tanya became the anchor of our wedding planning experience. She guided us through every detail, every decision, and every hurdle with a calm confidence that immediately put us at ease. We had regular meetings with her as well as with all of our vendors—meetings that she orchestrated with precision to make sure every party involved was aligned on timelines, responsibilities, and our vision for the day. The day before our wedding we had a last-minute vendor issue that left us with incorrect linens and a dance floor that had unfortunately been damaged and could not be used. What could have been a meltdown moment for most couples became a complete non-issue for us, because Tanya handled it all without us even knowing about it—we only learned about it once it was fully sorted and a non-issue. In less than 24 hours, she had the linens corrected and had sourced an identical dance floor through another vendor. She truly saved the day, and did it in a way that caused us zero stress before our big day! On the day of the wedding, Tanya arrives with a fully briefed and prepared team, all of whom are completely up to speed and ready to help execute every detail seamlessly alongside her. Tanya ensured that on our wedding day, every detail ran perfectly on schedule, every vendor knew exactly where to be and when, and we were able to be fully present with our guests and with each other. The day was magical—flawless in a way we never imagined possible—and so much of that was thanks to Tanya’s diligence, organization, leadership, and non-stop behind-the-scenes work. We may be a bit biased, but we’ve been to over 35 weddings and we can confidently say ours was the most fun, smooth, and just overall perfect wedding we’ve ever been to.
