That experience confirmed my passion for coordination, logistics, and making wedding days seamless. After serving as Maid of Honor multiple times, I became the go-to planner for friends. Since then, I’ve coordinated 22+ weddings and events, specializing in DIY and backyard celebrations. I believe a beautiful wedding doesn’t need a huge budget—just thoughtful planning.     We found Kalyna through Zola, and she was amazing to work with. We were planning an early morning brunch wedding that we wanted to feel simple but still elegant, and Kalyna brought that vision to life beautifully. She and her team were organized, responsive, and thoughtful in every detail, which allowed my husband and me to truly enjoy the day knowing everything was in good hands.     Kalyna Black came on as our day-of coordinator less than 3 weeks before our wedding in June 2025. She quickly became so much more. With her tenacity, intuition, and gift for event planning, she transformed into our wedding planner, florist, space designer, and all-around lifesaver. She took a huge load off our shoulders, stepping in exactly when we needed it most. As the day got closer, her quick response time and clear communication helped everything fall into place smoothly. Her creative eye brought our vision to life—especially my dream of wildflowers, which she wove beautifully into the rest of the décor. The space felt like us, through and through. Kalyna was also amazing with guests and vendors—friendly, warm, and completely in command. Everyone felt welcomed and well-directed by someone who clearly knows exactly what she’s doing. As the bride, I was able to have a calm, easy morning getting my hair and makeup done, fully confident that the setup and guest arrivals were in Kalyna’s capable hands. We couldn’t have done it without her.

    I had the pleasure of working with Kalyna as our Day-of Coordinator for our wedding on October 21st, 2023, at Arden Hills Country Club, and I can’t recommend her enough! While the venue had its own coordinator, Kalyna was absolutely essential in making our day run smoothly. One of the biggest challenges we faced was having a large wedding party, and Kalyna took charge of wrangling everyone, making sure that all our bridal party members and vendors were exactly where they needed to be. She was super organized and kept everything on track, even when things got a little hectic. Kalyna’s ability to troubleshoot any logistical issues that popped up was amazing. Whether it was managing timing or helping with last-minute adjustments, she handled everything seamlessly. She was calm under pressure, and we felt so relieved knowing that she was behind the scenes making sure all the moving pieces came together. In addition to managing the big day itself, Kalyna also helped us with finding vendors leading up to the wedding. She connected us with an incredible hair artist who did an amazing job on the bridal party, which was one less thing we had to worry about. Her resourcefulness and network made the planning process so much easier! Her attention to detail and proactive approach made such a difference. From coordinating with the vendors to ensuring our crew was in the right place at the right time, Kalyna made the day stress-free for us, allowing us to focus on enjoying the celebration. If you’re looking for someone who can handle the logistics of your big day with grace, organization, and a calm demeanor, I highly recommend Kalyna! She truly helped make our wedding day perfect.

Our June 20th, 2021 wedding at the Virginia City Opera House in Nevada was an absolute dream, and it wouldn’t have been possible without her expertise and calm demeanor. From the start, she helped us fine-tune our wedding timeline and order of events, ensuring every detail was accounted for. On the day of, everything ran flawlessly our 120-person celebration felt effortless, allowing us to truly soak in every moment without stress. A special bonus? Her husband, an ordained officiant, performed our ceremony beautifully, adding such a personal and heartfelt touch to our day. If you’re a DIY bride, Kalyna is an absolute must-have. She kept everything organized, handled any last-minute details with ease, and made sure our vision came to life perfectly.
