Hello! I’m Andrew, owner and lead planner at (personal information protected by Zola) Events. As a 15-year events industry veteran, I’ve valued being a part of weddings throughout the country, and especially along the East Coast. My company's name is an homage to my grandfather and my daughter, where we all share "Carey" in our name. I started in the industry planning events in college. Once in DC, I worked for a leading floral and décor company delivering over 500+ weddings. I enjoy partnering with couples and helping to execute their vision. It’s an honor to be trusted with such a momentous occasion, surrounded by so many people who are full of joy and love!

Andrew loves designing and executing special moments and helping to turn them into unforgettable memories. He carries this principle through planning each event to the last detail. Andrew excels on the wedding day, providing flawless execution to allow you to live into the memories!

    Andrew is a phenomenal wedding planner. My wife and I used him for his month-of / day-of planning and couldn't be happier. He is personable, efficient, and knows what he's doing. He left no question unanswered and took so much stress off of our shoulders, especially when it came to the little things. He didn't miss a single beat on our wedding day, was there whenever we needed him, and helped make our wildest dreams come true. I would absolutely recommend him ten times over!

    I truly can’t recommend Andrew enough! He was the best wedding planner I could have asked for—professional, organized, and such a calming presence throughout the entire process. From day one, he made everything feel seamless and stress-free. He not only managed every detail with care, but also taught me how to confidently negotiate with vendors, which was such a valuable skill. Andrew felt like both a planner and a partner, and having him by my side made the entire experience so much more enjoyable.     Over the past year I have loved getting to work with Andrew for our wedding! From our initial meeting, I knew Andrew was going to be the best decision we made. I appreciated our check-in meetings, vendor recommendations, and mainly the support I felt. The meetings were extremely helpful- even if you think you have everything under control, I found myself having new tasks to complete after each one- Andrew seriously knows all the ins and outs of planning a wedding! I went into the wedding planning process with a lot of visions, Andrew assured me he would help in any way he could to make them happen. Our wedding day turned out better than we could have imagined. We were and still are in love with our ceremony set up, to the reception layout and how flawless the timeline felt. We loved every moment and would recommend A.Carey events to anyone for any event!!
