Hi, I’m Nicole (she/her) - a Rhode Island-based wedding photographer. I have more than a decade of experience shooting weddings of all kinds - and today, I work collaboratively with my couples to create photos that evoke how their day felt. Photos of honest and emotional interactions; small details that hold weight and meaning; effortless portraits that capture the feel of the surrounding space or landscape. The result is a narrative visual story of enduring human connections, and a chronicle of emotional moments that they can revisit time and time again.

Before your day, I get to know you both and learn what matters to you. I customize packages for each of my couples, and these often include an engagement session to build both your trust in me and my understanding of you as a couple. I’ve mastered the ability to create a comfortable experience for those in front of my camera. When your day comes, by guiding - not posing - and acting as an engaged observer, I capture the energy and feel of the moment - without disrupting it. I also keep a pulse on what you might need at any point so you can experience your day fully.

    Nicole Marcelle Photography was an amazing choice for our wedding photographer. Their communication style was effective, clear, and prompt throughout the entire process. The quality of their work was incredible - the photos are absolutely beautiful and captured our day perfectly. Nicole took incredible pictures, really listening to what we wanted and making the experience seamless. She communicated with us about the plans, but wasn't overly communicative, and made the process after the photos were ready easy to deal with as well. We felt so lucky to have Nicole as our photographer - she was cheerful, fun, and great to work with, even when dealing with uncooperative children. The photos turned out gorgeous and we couldn't be happier.

    Nicole is the total package. Of course she is incredibly TALENTED, but she also handled our entire day with professionalism and empathy. She has the ability to make quick, smart decisions whenever things do not go perfectly as planned and always offers a helping hand. While preparing for our wedding, Nicole was extremely accessible and was an incredible communicator. She eased all of my anxieties and treated us like family. Out of all our vendors, Nicole received the most compliments from our guests. I loved that after the wedding, she gave us a sneak peak of some photos while we waited for the full album to be completed! I can’t wait for her to photograph our next life milestone.     The celebration of our wedding was photographed by Nicole of Nicole Marcelle Photography. Nicole has a knack for making people comfortable and creating just the right setting for her photos. She has a format that allows couples to think through the photography plan for the day of the wedding while providing sufficient time for wonderful photos in the midst of a very busy day. We were able to capture all the moments we had hoped for without sacrificing mingling with guests and having genuine fun. Nicole is not your average photographer. She is an artist. The quality of our photographs was beyond expectations. We can’t think of anything that was missed in the 700 photographs that Nicole took on our wedding day. We highly recommend Nicole photography, not only for beautiful wedding memories, but for any occasion that you wish to cherish.     Nicole was soo warm and wonderful—she did an outstanding job photographing our May 2024 wedding. We loved how she captured the emotional, meaningful big moments throughout the day but also never lost sight of small details to capture as well. Looking through the pictures, it really feels like they tell the story of the day. The way she plays with lighting and movement in her work is magical. We absolutely loved Nicole’s personality and her approach to work from the first meeting we had with her—and after the wedding, soo many members of my family told me how happy they were with her work and the energy she brought to the room; I knew that we loved her and her work, but was surprised and happy to hear that so did so many of the important people in our lives. At one point right before the ceremony, my bouquet started dripping water and dirt on my dress—Nicole and her assistant were so quick to go get something to clean my dress with and helped me avoid any stain disasters—so thankful for them for that!! Thank you for pictures that made me feel so beautiful, Nicole!! Would always recommend her for any photography projects.
