Kristen's Captures is a wedding and portrait photography company based in Coventry, RI. From your first consultation to your last pose, I will ensure that you have everything you need to look and feel your best in front of the camera. After getting my first camera from my mother, I immediately fell in love with the art of photography. Throughout my career, I have worked with an array of clients for all sorts of milestone moments. I know that each client is different, and am ready to document your candid, unscripted moments in a way that matches your style and aesthetic.
I have a love and passion for what I do. I understand how uncomfortable it can be on the other side of the lens; and because of that, I aim to provide a comfortable and relaxing experience! Your special day should be one where you can focus on each other and the commitment you are making to one another. That is why I offer planning assistance and guidance leading up to your wedding so all your boxes are checked! I provide a fun and collaborative environment while photographing so I can capture your real smiles and your true love!

Kristen is the BEST!!!
Kristen's Captures was an absolute joy to work with for our wedding. From the moment we first connected, Kristen was a superstar - her communication was fast, responsive, and felt like talking to a best friend. The quality of her work was truly beautiful, with a level of detail that went above and beyond. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, and captured our wedding weekend perfectly. It felt like we had known Kristen for years right off the bat. I would highly recommend Kristen's Captures to any couple looking for an exceptional wedding photography experience.
Surprise Proposal/Engagement
I cannot recommend Kristen’s service enough. She did everything in her power to remove any stress she could while I planned a surprise proposal for my now fiancé. Out of 8-10 different vendors I contacted, Kristen was by far the most attentive. Furthermore, Kristen very effectively conveyed a “want” to work with me. Her availability and thoroughness, even before the ‘big day,’ was everything. Any timeframe Kirsten outlined she stuck to it and very clearly communicated ‘next steps.’ The day of the proposal was seamless thanks to her planning. Also, the engagement shoot following the proposal was fantastic. As a complete stranger to any sort of professional shoot, Kristen walked us through each and every pose/step. Her guidance kept us comfortable and in the moment. Of course, the photos themselves were beyond expectation. We are overjoyed with what was captured and the superb editing done for the final product. Also, the “sneak peak” Kristen offered with a couple photos 1-2 hours following the shoot was amazing. We were out to dinner with family to celebrate the occasion and got a few gorgeous pics to show everyone right away. If Kristen is available for your day, you need to jump on the opportunity.

The photos she has captured so far are of amazing quality and have beautifully documented all the special moments of our day. Kristen and her team were absolutely amazing! I truly can’t recommend them enough. From start to finish, Kristen’s communication and professionalism were top-notch. On the wedding day, she walked in with the biggest smile and instantly became our biggest cheerleader. She was incredibly flexible when we had to make last-minute changes due to the weather, and still managed to capture the most stunning photos—despite the crazy wind! During portraits, she made us feel completely at ease. She guided us through natural poses, came up with fun ideas, and was happy to incorporate the ones we had in mind too. Taking photos with Kristen felt effortless and fun, and she made sure every special moment was beautifully documented. We’re so grateful for her and the entire team!
