Hi! My name is Courtney. I am the owner and lead shooter of Courtney Cohen Photography. I am based out of Barrington, RI, and love to spend time with my husband, toddler, and dog by the beaches of Rhode Island. I have a very candid approach when it comes to photography. I want to capture the raw emotion that you will remember for years and years to come. I shoot mainly outdoors with natural light but am trained with OCF (off-camera flash) for any low light or indoor locations. I strive to work with my clients not only to give them amazing pictures but also to make their lives as easy as possible. I hope that you reach out and we can chat!

I was married in 2019. I know the blood, sweat, and tears couples go through planning their big day. If I had a nickel for every time I told my husband "let's just elope" I would have been able to completely pay off my wedding AND honeymoon. So trust me when I say, I get it. When you hire me, you have my help with whatever you need. I can't count how many times I've bustled a dress, folded pocket squares, tied a tie, or even put a bride's shoes on. Whatever you need on your day, I'm your girl. Clients become my family when I'm at their wedding. I want what will make your day one to remember and I'll do almost anything to ensure that.

Courtney is fantastic! Obviously her photos are incredible, but beyond that she is just great to work with. She made my fiance and I both feel so comfortable during our engagement shoot- she was great with our dog too who we we included in our photos! Working with her along this whole process has been great- Courtney knows her stuff and has been so helpful with planning and executing everything so far during our wedding planning process. I can't wait to keep working with her! Also for our wedding day- I can’t say enough great things about Courtney. It was like having a friend with me the whole day- she was so amazing at making sure the day went smoothly. And the photos came out absolutely perfect. I will definitely be sticking with her for any of our photo needs in the future!!

Courtney was absolutely incredible! She was able to capture every special moment of our wedding and then some. She went the extra mile and got aerial footages with a drone! I truly am so lucky to have booked Courtney as our wedding photographer. From our engagement photos to our big day, Courtney was not only profesional, fun, and easy to work with, but her photos are drop dead gorgeous. She REALLY knows what she’s doing, and it was so easy to trust the process and go with the flow knowing that she was going to knock it out of the park.
