My name is Margit, and I’m a Mystic, CT wedding photographer, secret baking enthusiast, and mother of the two cutest kids on the planet. I am so happy you’re here. I know how stressful this season of wedding planning can feel, and I hope that by finding me, you can breathe a huge sigh of relief and release those shoulders you have scrunched up by your ears.
With a BFA in Photography, my work is rooted in a deep understanding of composition, lighting, and camera techniques. With these skills, I focus on natural, true-to-life tones and emotions to ensure that your photos will stand the test of time. I want to capture moments as they truly happen. I want to create an stress-free atmosphere at your wedding. I pride myself on adapting to any situation, whether managing timelines, family dynamics, or unexpected weather. I am in your corner and will treat every couple, guest, and vendor with warmth and respect. Love is love, and I warmly welcome couples of all faiths, backgrounds, and identities.

Wonderfully magical
From the moment we met Margit, we were blown away by her warm, friendly, and loving communication style. Her magical, romantic, and relaxed approach to capturing our wedding day was exactly what we had hoped for. She suggested wonderful poses, actions, and locations that resulted in photographs that truly reflect the joy and intimacy of our special day. Her skill at preserving those precious moments has given us images we will cherish forever. Amazing and authentic wedding photos!!
After seeing Margit’s portfolio and work on display at a wedding expo, I knew her style would be perfect for the photos we hoped to capture from our wedding day…we ended up getting those and so much more!! Margit truly cares about her couples and shares a genuine excitement for capturing your love through her lens. When we had our engagement shoot, she loved our idea of going back to the brewery where we met. She called them to make sure we’d be able to have access to different areas and even worked with their event coordinator to get us in before they opened to ensure we’d be uninterrupted. She was so accommodating and made us feel so comfortable and at ease. In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding day, Margit was in communication with us about our timelines and photo lists, and was so thorough and professional. On our big day, she showed up with so much enthusiasm and enlisted a fantastic second shooter to capture every part of our day. Margit and Chris were so creative and made sure we got romantic sunset pictures and epic dance floor pictures!! Not even 12 hours after our wedding, Margit delivered a few sneaks peeks which was an amazing surprise to wake up to as husband and wife. The extended sneak peeks she delivered a week later made us so excited to see the full album, which she delivered in less than 4 weeks!! We still cannot even pick out our top 10 favorites, they are all so amazing and meaningful to us. Margit is so caring and takes her job of capturing your most important day so seriously, but is so much fun to work with. We can’t wait for her to capture more of our important life events.
