Mixing evocative Celtic songs with upbeat Americana folk and acoustic covers, Lindsay Straw delivers a soundtrack in a warm alto voice with intricate guitar and Irish bouzouki accompaniment. With over 250 weddings under her belt, she loves working with couples to provide the perfect folky playlist tailored to their tastes and needs. She provides her own sound gear and can accommodate new song requests. She's open to weddings all over New England.
Lindsay can provide a soothing all instrumental fingerstyle guitar set, mix in vocals, or switch to Irish bouzouki and go heavy on Celtic songs for folks who want to honor their Irish or Scottish heritage! While she often plays solo, she can also subcontract a friend or two on fiddle, pipes, concertina, mandolin, bass, etc. for an energetic ensemble performance. Beautiful Music & Wonderful Experience
We absolutely loved having Lindsay play at our wedding. Her music created such a beautiful atmosphere. She was also an absolute professional. She was easy to work with, reliable, and accommodating throughout the planning process. She made everything seamless, and her performance added so much warmth and elegance to our day.
