I’m Jaime the owner of Shimmer For You. I'm an award-winning Bridal Hair and Makeup Artist. I’ve been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 18 years and I am also licensed to teach Cosmetology and Skin Care as well. After many years of working in this field I have chosen to only work in Bridal. I enjoy working in the Bridal industry & making people feel beautiful on their most important days. I love working with each and every one of my clients and I love hearing their stories and all of their special touches that go into their wedding day.

We make getting ready a breeze by coming directly to you on your wedding day. Relax and mingle with your wedding party while we work. Travel fees apply when traveling over 30 miles. We also offer a Luxury Bridal package for just the Bride where all fees are included and it's tailored for all of the Bride's needs. We travel all over NJ and specialize in the Jersey Shore area. We also travel within the tri-state area.

Shimmer for You was great to work with! I did a trial with Jaime a few months ahead of time, and then adjusted things as needed day of. Jaime and her team did hair and makeup for me, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. Everything went smoothly, and we were done on time. My hair looked bigger than I wanted day of, and we had enough time for Jaime to adjust it so it looked exactly how I wanted. I had worried that wedding makeup and lashes would look to heavy on me since I don’t usually wear much makeup (and I saw some full glam photos on the Zola profile), but the soft look Jaime did for me was perfect- I still looked like myself, but shimmery. I was also worried about foundation and lip colors looking too orange or yellow on me since I’m very fair with cool/pink undertones, but the color match was perfect, and we tried out a few lip colors at the trial to get it perfect. The moms and bridesmaids love their hair and makeup too! I absolutely recommend Shimmer for You!

The quality of their work was stunning - they were flexible in accommodating last-minute schedule changes due to a family emergency, understood the importance of the weather and its impact on hair, and ensured a perfect look from the trial to the final styling. The owner, Jaime, was even kind enough to waive the cost for my mother's hair and makeup when she could not attend.
