Overall I experienced a lack of communication and lack of professionalism from PH. When planning my wedding, I had always planned to do my own hair & make up, but some of my family wanted hair and make up done so I decided to book with Peretti Hill because the price was good, they had beautiful photos of their work, and were easy to book. They hound you to pay an invoice but then as soon as you pay, you never hear from them. Communication style is very delayed and unclear. I was charged a long distance fee and early start fee, so imagine how frustrating it is to wake up early in time to let the hair/make up artist in only for them to be almost an hour late AND they didn’t travel long distance (come to find out) and they didn’t seem very apologetic. It put a bad start to the whole day as it delayed people arriving to the venue in time for photos and dropping off decor. And I honestly was not very impressed with the work, they made my mom look so orange. After everything, I emailed them to get a refund ONLY on the long distance fee and early start fee, because those things were not serviced. Again, it took emailing a few times to even get a response and once they confirmed I would get the refund, they also said that despite “not feeling well,” the artist “chose to push through and still show up for your wedding rather than cancel — a decision made out of professionalism.” So unhappy with this response, we all have to push through when we don’t feel well. Being professional means being on time and being over communicative with clients to ensure services are still being provided. No excuse. I’m disappointed with my overall experience with PH and I do not recommend them.

The Peretti Hill Glam Squad was absolutely amazing to work with for our wedding day. From the very first interaction, their communication was timely, communicative, and incredibly helpful as we planned our look. Our hair and makeup artist, Starr, was truly knowledgeable, sweet, and made sure we loved every step of the process - she would regularly check in with us and look for our feedback. The end result was absolutely beautiful, and we felt confident and gorgeous thanks to the Glam Squad's expertise. We cannot recommend them highly enough for any couple looking for a talented, professional, and personable beauty team to help make their wedding day perfect.

It was a good price for their glam bundle for hair and makeup but it was the same price for a trial. Since reviews were good, I didn’t worry much about testing them. Well my eye had some sort of reaction and wouldn’t stop watering as soon as the eye shadow was put on. When I cried while walking down the aisle, the lash glue also got in my eye and they burned to the point I could barely open my eyes and had to remove my lashes before the reception. The glue they used for the lashes was just the Duo brand. I expected a higher end product for the price I was paying. I had to touch up my makeup 3-4 times throughout the day. Before even walking down the aisle, I tried touching it up and a whole patch of makeup came off. She gave me some extra makeup but it wasn’t enough and melted together with the lipstick. I think she kept packing on the foundation that it just wasn’t staying even after saying the setting spray would “lock in my look”. I also had tear streaks down both sides of my face, so I feel like the whole thing can’t be blamed on my eye. My hair was mostly secure but left me with bruises from the rubber-banned bobby pins. It wasn’t exactly what I wanted and at one point in the night, I felt a bobby pin falling out. My wedding day was hard to enjoy because I was worried about my makeup and I was in pain. It was the opposite of what I had hoped, which was to have no worries about my appearance. My friend did a better job when she did it for me and I had no reaction to the makeup. Wish I just had her do it.

I am so glad I chose Peretti Hill for my wedding—I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. I booked a hair and makeup trial about a month before the wedding, and then secured hair and makeup services for both me and my mom for the big day. Pricing was very reasonable, which was a huge plus. My stylist, Sarah, was absolutely perfect. During the trial, she really listened to my preferences, asked for feedback, and made thoughtful adjustments. She took note of everything I mentioned and was incredibly open and professional throughout. On the wedding day, we had an absolute blast. Not only did Sarah make us both look stunning, but she was also such a joy to be around—fun, easy to talk to, and brought great energy to the morning. It felt more like getting ready with a friend than with a vendor. What I appreciated most was that I still felt like myself on my wedding day—just the most beautiful version of me. The makeup and hair weren’t over the top, just elegant, natural, and exactly what I envisioned. And everything stayed flawless all night long. And I mean all night. It was a record-breaking hot day, I danced nonstop, and yes—there were many happy tears. Yet my hair and makeup didn’t budge. To prove it, I’ve included a photo from the cake cutting—seven hours after Sarah finished, following hours of heat, crying, and full-on dancing. Still perfect. I truly can’t recommend Peretti Hill—and Sarah—enough. You’ll be in amazing hands.
