With 15 years specializing in makeup and hair, every look is tailored to celebrate you. My promise is that I treat my clients as if it were my own wedding. While you gaze into the mirror looking your best, you are going to feel pampered and relaxed. My style is versatile to meet your needs. Think romantic, natural, ethereal, modern or elegant with a vintage nod. My team and I proudly serve and support LGBTQ/BIPOC 🏳️‍🌈 / Travel ready for destination weddings worldwide.

I love creating a connection with each client, hearing your story...your dream goals. That will help determine the end result when creating a look you can truly feel comfortable in.     I am so grateful to Melissa for her kindness, professionalism, and beautiful work on our wedding day. During the makeup trials for both myself and my mom, she was incredibly patient and truly listened to our requests in how we wanted to look that day. I have a very specific daily eyeliner look that I was hoping to incorporate, and my mom rarely wears makeup. Melissa created looks for us that we were so happy with. On the day of the wedding, she and her team brought such a cheerful energy to the getting-ready process for us and my bridal party, even when our schedule fell behind and we had to change hotel rooms. In that time, she met my husband and even used the moment to give him some makeup too, which he greatly appreciated! Having her throughout the day was a huge help in making sure we still looked our best for the ceremony after hours of photos. Thank you, Melissa, for making us look and feel spectacular on our wedding day!

    Melissa Formica Makeup & Hair was a fantastic choice for my wedding beauty needs. Their communication style was easy and clear, which put me at ease throughout the process. Melissa did my hair and makeup for both my welcome dinner and wedding day, and I felt like a million bucks - she made me look and feel incredible while still keeping me looking like myself. I even changed my hair style the day of the wedding, and Melissa pivoted seamlessly and did an amazing job. The hair and makeup stayed flawless all night long, even through the dancing. Melissa is also very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable, which was especially helpful as I was approaching the big day. I usually don't like getting my makeup done because I feel like I don't look like myself, but Melissa did such a great job.     Melissa Formica is an incredible makeup artist and hair stylist. I had the good fortune of working with Melissa for my wedding in January 2025. From the first meeting at our makeup and hair trial, I appreciated Melissa’s affable and professional demeanor. Melissa was timely, organized, and easy to talk with. She created a comfortable space in which I felt at ease asking her to tweak aspects of my makeup and hair style. Additionally, she worked well with all of the women in my bridal party, who all complemented her skill and lovely personality. On the day of the wedding, due to the numbers in my bridal party, Melissa brought in another artist to assist with hair styling. This hair stylist was equally lovely and the quality of her work was also top notch. Having Melissa and her team as part of my wedding morning getting ready crew was fun and enjoyable! They blended in easily and navigated the little moments of hectic morning-of happenings professionally and with a smile on their face! I would highly recommend Melissa Formica for your next makeup and hair styling needs!
