    About 5-6 months before our wedding, our original caterer re-quoted our pricing that I had signed over a year ago and it had increased by almost 15k! I was so distraught and stressed, as you can imagine. Luckily I found Soraya through a Facebook wedding group after I had asked for a second opinion. SHE SAVED MY WEDDING DAY. My husband and I are Cambodian and Chinese and trying to find any upscale asian caterer in the NorthShore was darn near impossible. I had my heart set on an upscale multi-course asian banquet menu. We ended up with 10 courses! Soraya made it happen and all the food was made on site at our venue in Peabody (the Olio). Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was! To think I almost went with drop catering as I thought that was my only option. Thank goodness I found Soraya! As anyone who has ever thrown a big event knows, the food will make or break an event. And Soraya's food MADE our wedding a huge success. Soraya made sure fried foods were crispy, hot foods were HOT, and each table service was flawlessly delivered. Even our foodie families were happy with the food and were so surprised at how authentic everything tasted. We had menu items that were Chinese and Cambodian. I would hire Soraya and her team again, and again, and again. She kept me at ease and made sure everything was flawlessly executed. THANK YOU again for everything Soraya. You have mine and my families deepest appreciation.

    We cannot thank Soraya and her staff at SYB enough for creating a magical wedding experience for our son and daughter-in-law this past fall. The food, decor, atmosphere, and service were perfection, and Soraya was wonderful to work with. The wedding venue was fabulous but presented many logistical challenges as it was a working museum and everything had to be brought in. However, Soraya's invaluable advice and guidance, as well as her calm, professional and effective management of all the moving pieces, made for a stress-free and joyful day that we could all relax and enjoy. With Soraya there were no surprises and no added costs ... our family was truly blessed to have her services in planning, executing & catering this most special event.

    We had Soraya as our wedding catering and wedding coordination vendor and can't recommend her and her team enough. The Mediterranean/North African food was excellent and we got countless compliments on it from all of our guests. But most of all, the month-of and day-of coordination that Soraya provided was instrumental in our weddings success. During planning, Soraya worked with us to make our multi-cultural/fusion wedding vision come true and made spot-on recommendations and enhanced it. On the day-of, all of the myriad of little and not so little challenges we faced with our wedding were expertly handled by Soraya and her team. We felt to be in really capable hands on the day of that really helped us to be able to relax and enjoy our special day. A huge thank you to everyone in Soraya's team.
