Want a packed dance floor? Book Uptown Groove!!
Uptown Groove was absolutely incredible to work with!! Not only are they incredibly detail oriented to ensure your day runs as smooth as possible, but they keep the dance floor electric all night long. They really take into account your musical style and preferences and craft an incredible set list. If having a packed dance floor is your goal, you need to hire them. We even had people dancing during dinner service and our dance floor was packed from the first song through the last. Their extensive set list and incredibly talented musicians guarantee an incredible night. Every guest we talked to raved about the band, and told us it was the best wedding band they'd ever heard, and we couldn't agree more. We can't say enough positive things about them!

From the very first song to the final encore, they had every single guest on the dance floor. Their talent, energy, and professionalism are unmatched. The band was incredibly easy to work with—organized, flexible, and attentive to every detail. They thoughtfully incorporated our requests, read the room perfectly, and kept the energy high all night. The saxophone player even made his way into the crowd, which our guests absolutely loved! We received countless compliments from friends and family saying it was the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. We couldn’t be happier with our choice—The Uptown Groove truly made our wedding unforgettable.

Seth and Aaron are amazing to work with. Very professional in every aspect. They pay attention to every detail, including providing music and mics for the ceremony, music for the cocktail hour, and of course, a high energy performance at the reception. Their wide selection of songs, tight sound and vocals are absolutely outstanding. We all danced the night away!
July 2025 Bride
I cannot put into words how amazing it was working with Uptown Groove for our July 2025 wedding in Buffalo, New York. From the jump, Seth was an extremely valuable resource. He worked with my husband and I to really understand our musical vision for our wedding and was extremely helpful while doing so. He even invited us to one of the band's gigs before our wedding, so we could get a feel for their sound and the band itself. We ended up going, and it was so great meeting them all! The week before the wedding, we had a full debrief with Seth and Harper (one of the lead vocalists), where we discussed in detail the schedule for the big day. For our wedding, Uptown Groove provided a jazz trio during cocktail hour, MC'd the entire reception, and all 9 members absolutely brought the house down during the dancing portion of the night. It was INCREDIBLE! They really took into consideration our "must play" and "prefer not to play" songs. In addition to sounding fantastic, they also really kept the party going - the dance floor was PACKED all night. We cannot recommend Uptown Groove enough. When all 250 of your wedding guests tell you that "the band was insanely good," you know it's real! Thank you so much to Uptown Groove team for making our night unforgettable. BOOK THEM! You will NOT regret it!
