Highly Recommend!
We hired DJ Skip for our wedding, and it was, hands-down, one of the best decisions we made! From our first conversation, he was professional, organized, and incredibly easy to work with. He really took the time to understand our music preferences and vibe for the night—and absolutely nailed it. The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and guests are still telling us how much fun they had. The transitions were seamless, the energy was electric, and the mix of music kept everyone—from our grandparents to our college friends—out on the dance floor. DJ Skip also handled the reception sound beautifully. Everything was crystal clear, and all the little details like timing were spot-on. If you’re looking for a DJ who’s not just talented but also genuinely invested in making your day unforgettable, look no further. We can’t recommend him highly enough!
Best DJ ever!
We found out about Skip at a friend's wedding. He was so good that I hired him for our wedding in 2017. Skip was very responsive to emails and we met up in person to discuss preferences. I love that Skip was not judgmental about music, he was totally open to what we wanted. We had "do not play" and "must play" lists. He was prompt, well-prepared, and sweet. Our wedding ceremony was SO much fun and I attribute a lot of that to Skip. He can read the room and kept the dance party going for FOUR hours. It was originally 3 hours, but everyone was having so much fun that we extended our time. He's like a dance magician, he knows when to change songs and what the crowd wants. Our dance floor was never empty until our venue said we had to close it down. I recently reached out to Skip to DJ an event last week, and he responded in less than 24 hours with availabilities. I can't wait for the day that I can go to another Skip event!
Amazing DJ!
Skip is absolutely fantastic. We had a relatively smaller and older crowd at our wedding (56 people) and there were plenty of people on the dance floor all night! He was great at keeping the energy up and reading the room to choose songs that people would enjoy, and he did some really fun mixes/transitions to keep recognizable songs interesting. We are nerdy people who mostly listen to podcasts, so we left the music entirely in his hands, and are thrilled with how well it worked out. He also nailed the timing for our processional, recessional, and first dance songs (we wanted them to start/end in specific places) and was really great about communicating what was going on to guests, which helped the evening run very smoothly. The dance floor lights were great and really made it feel like a party—definitely worth it to add on. Skip also was very efficient with setup and takedown, which was great given the limited window we had for setup at our venue. Communication leading up to the wedding was very clear and quick, and he was really fun and easy to work with. We highly recommend Skip for your wedding or other special event!
Amazing DJ!
HeadSmile Productions DJ was the perfect choice for our wedding. Right from the start, he was highly communicative and responsive, working closely with us to understand our music preferences and create the ideal playlist for each part of our special day. On the day of the wedding, he did an amazing job keeping the energy high during our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. Our guests were on the dance floor all night long, dancing to a great mix of classic hits and current favorites. The quality of their work and the value he provided was exceptional - we couldn't have asked for a better DJ to make our wedding celebration so memorable.
