We had the Stax ensemble perform as a seven piece at our wedding and they blew our minds. They were so energetic, so talented, so committed to their performance. The sax player and guitar player were blistering everyone faces off. The singers were duck walking and voguing like seasoned ballroom dancers in NYC. the drummer was making us all cry with impassioned promises of ally ship for marriage equality. I danced the entire time they played and was so happy at the end of the night. I highly recommend bringing this band to your wedding. You will NOT regret it. Incredible musicians and lovely human beings. Sean and Art were also AWESOME to work with ahead of time with a killer FAQ document that demystified the entire process. This group has their process well oiled.

ECS was great to work without through the wedding process! They were responsive and helpful with any questions we had. They worked with our event coordinator to make sure everything went smoothly on the day of our wedding. The band was absolutely incredible - many guests came up to us to tell us how blown away by them they were! They sounded incredible, brought an infectious energy that kept guests on the dance floor, and truly made the night feel so special! I highly, highly recommend ECS!

We booked the Stax ensemble for our wedding, and the #1 thing we've heard from guests following our wedding was how amazing they were. They are not exaggerating when they say they're performers. They brought INCREDIBLE energy, musical talent, and joy to our wedding, and the dance floor was packed all night. 100% recommend them - total pros.

Our wedding was on New Year's Eve, a day that can be both overwhelming and challenging, but East Coast Soul rose to the occasion and absolutely nailed it—making it an unforgettable celebration.—everyone was raving about the energy, the professionalism, and the way the band kept the celebration alive throughout the night. Our guests were on their feet dancing and enjoying every minute, and we know that this was a direct result of the incredible talent and passion the band brought to the event. So much talent!
