Clockwork Band a Must for your Wedding!

We had the absolute pleasure of having Clockwork perform at our son’s wedding at the Woodstock Inn in Woodstock, VT on Saturday, August 30, 2025. They were incredible! The two lead singers, Dannell and Edith, brought so much energy and kept the dance floor packed all night. Dannell, in his very cool red suit, wowed the crowd by not only joining us on the dance floor but also playing an electric fiddle that was absolutely fantastic to watch. Edith’s voice was powerful and full of soul, and together they created such a fun, electric atmosphere. Clockwork truly made the night unforgettable—it was the perfect soundtrack to an amazing wedding! Highly recommend them for anyone who wants their party to keep hopping!

Clockwork Boston is the BEST wedding band! They played at our son’s wedding in Camden, Maine on Aug 31st and got everyone on the dance floor. Their music which includes their voices, their sound equipment, was spot on and had the perfect vibe the whole night- from softer sounds at cocktail hour to fun danceable tunes later in the evening. They also look fantastic- great style, great attitudes and personalities. Definitely try to book THIS BAND! Thank you Clockwork Boston for being a part of our celebration.

Clockwork New England is by far the best wedding band I've ever seen. The setlist was perfect to keep the crowd moving. The band was more engaging with the guests than I've ever seen, both mingling in the crowd and inviting the bride and other guests onstage. The energy was amazing, and they're really good musicians too! Would recommend this band 1000 times, I'd even want to see them if it wasn't for a wedding!

Clockwork Boston did such a great job at our July 2025 wedding in Rhode Island! Everyone had an incredible time dancing. We found it very easy to work with them throughout the planning process, and they had great suggestions for music that would keep the crowd engaged. Would highly recommend them!

We will learn it! Or we can play the actual recording for you to dance to. Dancing to the recording is quite common, and for a lot of couples it removes those "first dance jitters" because they know exactly how it’s going to sound (and quite often they’ve been practicing dancing to the recording). Honestly, you won't offend us in the least if you ask us to "DJ" your first dance!

Most wedding receptions are 5 hours long: 1 hour for cocktails, and 4 hours for the reception (dinner and dancing), and there’s a reason for that. A four-hour reception seems to be the right amount of time to create a very fun atmosphere, to get everyone dancing, and have the energy peak before people get too tired. Keep in mind that after dinner, there is continuous high-energy music until the end of the reception.

During a 4-hour reception, we take two breaks. The first is during dinner when the main course is being served. After dinner we play two dance sets, and bridge the gap between these two sets with the high-energy DJ set (about 15 minutes in length).

Yes. In fact, you can put together your own custom playlist specifying exactly which songs are to be played during each break. Just give us a list, and we'll put it together! Or you can rely on us to put together a great mix to "DJ" the breaks.

No. We perform only one event each day, thereby giving each event our undivided attention. Furthermore, you will never be charged a penalty or extra stipend if your reception happens to be during “crossover” times (from late afternoon into early evening).

Getting your guests to the dance floor and keeping them there is our number one goal; isn’t that why you hire a band in the first place? Having performed at so many weddings in the past, we have a good sense as to which songs to pick to get people on the dance floor. Once the dancing has started, we string songs together into medleys (so there’s not that awkward “dead air” in between songs), gradually building the energy from one song to the next.
