My spouse and I had the literal wedding of our dreams. The Gardens were able to accommodate things we wanted, like family style dinner, long tables, great sound quality and an incredibly beautiful outdoor space. Getting married here was easy, the whole team communicated so quickly and respectfully. Being a queer couple, it was great to be in a space we could be fully ourselves. I don't think either of us could have anticipated anything better. The food was delicious, the venue was gorgeous, the people were great and the day was perfect. 10 South's coordinator Megan Anderson and DJ Terry Palmer rock! Megan is very patient and thoughtful throughout the whole process, from early planning to actual day to the last minute. She seemed professional, experienced, calm and confident, gave clear instructions and recommendations in highly professional and respectful manner, which is hugely helpful. DJ Terry is awesome. So good at this job. Again, very patient and accommodating throughout the planning phase, and on the day of, gave us a seamless and beautiful event. Particularly, our guests one after another came to us and commented that it was the best grand march they have seen, coz DJ Terry rocks. He totally hyped the space up with just the perfect tone and music, and perfect amount of enthusiasm, not overly loud or overshadowing, just felt genuine and passionate. Overall, people had a great time. The venue is beautiful. Again many guests came to us specifically commenting on how beautiful this place is, how everything just flows very well from one space to another. 12 out of 10 experience overall. Highly recommend.

The Best Place at Pabst was so easy to work with, affordable, flexible drink packages, lots of fun amenities, natural atmosphere and decor means you don’t need to do much decorating of your own, I could go on and on. Our guests could not stop raving about how unique, intimate and lovely the space was. We used the Blue Ribbon Hall which included a balcony space which we used to give our guests the opportunity to play classic WI card games; Euchre, Sheepshead, cribbage etc… It was a great, separate space to hang out but still be a part of the celebration and watch the dancing. The staff even accommodated our last minute request to play the Bucks playoff game on the projector during dinner! Our wedding included lots of guests from out of town and out of state and we really wanted a venue that embodied Milwaukee culture. This. Was. IT.

This was the most impressive venue for the money. Looking back at all that was included you would’ve thought our budget was triple what we spent. I loved how customizable the day was, we were able to omit things that weren’t important and add more of what we loved and wanted to highlight (like drinks). I truly felt this was a “boujee” wedding and very High class which I didn’t even think was possible with our budget. We had so many compliments on how elegant but also rustic our venue style was. Being able to utilize the space the night before for the grooms dinner was also a huge plus! We loved everything about tattersall and I would recommend this to anyone!

Embassy Suites by Hilton is such a wonderful space to hold a wedding! My husband and our families first met with their event staff in March 2025 for a wedding just five months later on August 30th, 2025! I credit the wonderful and knowledgeable event staff, Karina Oliva (Wedding Coordinator at Embassy Suites in Brookfield, WI) especially for this turn around! The planning process was a breeze with her constant advice, patience and expertise. Karina guided us through the timeline, helping us add personal touches and always reminding us that everything was alright and we were exactly where we should be in terms of planning! She was completely patient in my constant questions and slight delays in decision making. Karina and some of her event staff are bilingual as well, which helped in planning as my husband and his family are from Ecuador—as well as some of our guests who only spoke Spanish! Since Embassy suites allows pets we were also permitted to have our dog be our ring barrier which was a dream of ours since the beginning! I got so many compliments from my guests at how wonderful my wedding was and a huge part is to do with the Embassy Suites staff. They were around and ready during the celebration to assure everything moved as smooth as possible! The food was delicious (especially the appetizer we served which were the potstickers). Both me, my husband and my mother are so incredibly pleased at our experience with embassy suites! Thank you so much to the staff for making the night perfect! Special shout out to Karina Oliva who did such a wonderful job I cannot thank her enough!

My husband and I had our wedding reception at The Marq in August. The entire experience, from the initial booking to the end our wedding night, was seamlessly managed. Tyler the event coordinator was great to work with! We had multiple meetings to ensure everything came together exactly how I envisioned it. His communication was prompt, and he handled every request and change with professionalism. The venue itself is beautiful. The ballroom provided the perfect ambiance. The space is elegantly maintained, and the team was incredibly accommodating with our decor ideas, making sure the lighting and layout were exactly as we had envisioned. It truly felt like our vision came to life. The food was a culinary highlight of the evening. The quality and presentation of the entrees were outstanding, and the serving staff was efficient, friendly, and attentive. We had chosen three different meals options and each one was incredible. Even with a large guest count, the service was prompt, and every plate was served hot. Our guests were and are still raving about how incredible the food tasted. Thank you Chef Brian! If you are looking for a beautiful venue with a personable team for your wedding, we highly recommend The Marq!

The Valerie Event Venue

5.0

Oconomowoc, WI
  • Up to 350 guests
  • Select services
  • Indoor & outdoor
  • Starts at $5,500

We are thrilled to unveil The Valerie, a sophisticated event and wedding venue located in the heart of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. With its timeless elegance and versatile layout, The Valerie sets the stage for extraordinary weddings, events and celebrations among venues in our area.

Why you'll love this venue

  • Both indoor and outdoor options
  • Provides lighting and sound
  • Offers a sense of luxury

Venue considerations

  • Large venue, not ideal for small guest lists
  • No free parking
  • Not for you if you are drawn to more unconventional venues
If there was an option to give more than 5 stars, The Valerie deserves it! I don't even know where to start - everything was even more perfect than we could have imagined. Picking a venue is a very tough, but important decision. I found myself googling The Valerie daily before finally biting the bullet on a venue that wasn't even built yet - but boy am I glad I did!!! This place is absolutely STUNNING. From the very beginning, I knew I wanted a classy and elegant vibe for my wedding and The Valerie matches that perfectly. From the gorgeous bridal suite, to the large light wall, the sparkly chandeliers, the aesthetic bars, the names of all the spaces, and the employees. Matty is such a joy to work with! From the initial conversation to the very last, he made sure that everything was perfect. He was extremely prompt in his responses via email, text, and call. Anything I needed, he was there to find the answer for me. He is AMAZING at what he does and we are so thankful! My ONE request was an espresso martini tower—and the second I said it, Matty didn’t hesitate. He just said, ‘Let’s do it!’ and made it happen. Jen was the MVP! We met Jen at our 90 day check in and immediately clicked and she offered to be our Wedding Coordinator from that point on - BEST DECISION EVER! She made everything go so smoothly, I didn't have to worry about a thing. Jen was also available at any time of the day to answer and questions or even offer suggestions! Half the time, I didn’t even know what I wanted—but Jen somehow took my scattered thoughts and turned them into something more beautiful than I could’ve imagined. I saw so many mixed opinions about hiring a wedding coordinator—so many people said we could just 'do it ourselves.' But looking back, I know without a doubt that our wedding was everything we dreamed of because of her! Mike, Jordan, and Madeline were the bartenders working the night of our wedding and they played one of the biggest roles of the night! All of our guests were raving about Mike's Brandy Old Fashions :) The three of them made sure all of the guests were taken care of in a timely manner and we are so appreciative of their service! For all the future brides out there - this is the BEST place to have the wedding of your dreams :)

We absolutely LOVE working with Culinary infusion, and working at Circa on Seventh! The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Meticulously designed, with the most tasteful touches. The chandeliers, brick wall, and Bridal Suite will blow you away. You cannot find an ugly spot in the entire place. Always ultra clean and well taken care of. The staff is ALWAYS friendly, and willing to go out of their way to make sure your day is perfect. It's a cliche, but they really do treat you like family. We have been to quite a few other venues, and no one takes care of their clients as well as the staff at Circa on Seventh. They have a way of taking away all the stress, and making sure the day goes exactly as the clients have planned. And now my favorite topic to talk about: The FOOD! Absolutely delicious! Most people think of "wedding food". This is NOT wedding food, this is delicious fine dining, but at a wedding. The food is always incredibly delicious, and extremely appetizing to look at. I always joke that if they ever opened a restaurant, I would be there three times a week. its THAT good! You cannot go wrong with booking Circa on Seventh!

We came across this venue and from the moment we walked in the doors we were in awe. From the old ticket booth to the beautiful wood bar, the stage and the stunning chandelier you can see from the outside, it is so very special. Everyone including our vendors couldn’t stop talking about how great the venue was. The owners were also great to work with and could tell they loved their venue and it’s rich history. Bonus you get a great bridal room to get ready, a quaint rehearsal area having it the entire weekend was so appreciated!

My husband and I got married at Western Lakes Golf Club 5/4/24 and it was incredible. Food was amazing, staff were very friendly. The only downside for why I took off a star was because of the day of coordinator provided with the venue. She was great leading up to the day of the wedding but on the wedding day I saw her twice and then never saw her again. She never introduced herself to my husband, never made sure we were lining up for the ceremony or anything. Never checked in on us. I’m the one that noticed we should be getting lined up which should have been the coordinator doing it. But overall, it was a great experience.

Venue considerations

I couldn't be more pleased with our decision to have our wedding ceremony and reception at the Box MKE. The location was a dream, and it's truly a perfect "blank slate" venue. The exposed brick and greenery wall are lovely, and lend themselves well to either muted decor that lets the industrial feel shine, or the ability to go wild with your own decor ideas. The space was ideal, and Jamie, the event coordinator, made everything so easy. She helped us with our layout as well as coordinating all of our vendors, and even doing decor set up. While the venue was great, working with Jamie was even better. If I could give The Box more than 5 stars, I would. We definitely chose the right venue, and I highly recommend The Box MKE for weddings, charity events, or large celebrations.

We create a seamless experience so you spend your day celebrating with family and friends, while we spend time perfecting the details

Why you'll love this venue

  • Provides catering services

Venue considerations

  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
  • Not for you if you are looking for something nontraditional
  • On-site parking not available
When my (now) husband and I got engaged, soon the reality set in that I was now to become a full time wedding planner. The checklists started getting made with the first one on the list being “find a venue”. We knew we wanted an elegant, upscale, timeless wedding. The first thing that came to mind was an outdoor country club wedding. After touring a few, we realized this was not what we wanted due to unpredictable weather, inconvenience for out of town guests, and rustic vibes we were not trying to go for. Family recommended The Concourse so I reached out to Kylie. During our first tour we knew this was where we wanted to get married. The elegant experience that The Concourse provides is unmatched. (My favorite part being the neutral carpet, no one wants bright red or blue carpet in your wedding pictures.) During one of the most stressful times, stressing about weather and rain is something you can easily take off your plate by being indoors. This venue is perfect to have everything in one place from the rehearsal, to the ceremony, to the reception. Kylie is not only helpful, but goes above and beyond to make your day perfect. She is there every step of the way in the months and days leading up to the big day to make sure your vision becomes a reality. Everything from the set up, to the timing, to helping day-of making sure everything goes according to plan was more than what was even expected. People ask how our wedding went and all we can say is “perfect”. We are so grateful to everyone on The Concourse team, especially to Kylie. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day.

Rustic Manor 1848

Hartland, WI
  • Up to 275 guests

A completely renovated barn venue half way between Milwaukee and Madison with all of today's modern amenities. A comfortable setting with heating & AC throughout the entire facility, the barn can accommodate up to 275 guests with ADA restrooms, an expansive loft overlooking the main hall, bridal quarters, stunning views of the countryside and full service bar. In-house wedding planning and photography services along with an array of fun add on's, including string lighting are also available making Rustic Manor 1848 your one stop wedding location!

Why you'll love this venue

  • Flexible event spaces
  • Space for a large guest list
  • Multiple event spaces

Venue considerations

  • Not for you if you're looking for a sleek and contemporary space
  • Requires outside catering services
  • Venue feels large for events with small guest lists
Rustic Manor was a lovely wedding venue. Our guests loved the spacious grounds, easy parking, large bathrooms, and classy rustic interior. We loved the large bridal and groomsmen suites, the payment process, the venue setting up chairs for ceremony and reception, and the professionalism of staff throughout the planning process. We did not love how expensive it was for the add ons. For a Saturday wedding in “wedding season” we paid almost 10k just for the venue and venue-specific add ons. This included string lights, nice tables, water service at dinner, use of the Photo Booth, etc. The Photo Booth did not include a guest book to put the extra slides (which we had seen at another wedding at this venue), which we didn’t realize until the night of when it was too late. The bar bill (180 guests) was about 6k. Their preferred dinner vendors were expensive and didn’t have many vegetarian options. The least expensive “preferred food vendor” was 20k for 180 guests. We *really* didn’t love that they didn’t have any signs at the bar. We were expected to purchase signs and write out the drink list, hours, and rules of the bar. Our guests did not love that there wasn’t a bartender on scene to get even water or soda prior to the ceremony. During planning, they encouraged stopping open bar during dinner, so our guests had nothing to drink for the toasts. They did not have a sound system going outside, so half of our guests were outdoors and missed all of the announcements. Our wedding was beautiful, but for a venue that “prefers” an event costing 50k, we expected more.
