We are a very laid back team of husband and wife running his family's 6th generation family farm. We are rustic but also a charming, authentic Vermont experience. The barn can become incredibly elegant for a more formal affair but can also look just perfect with some simple, personal accents. Some of the great things that people love about our venue is our relaxed vibe, we are a BYOB facility and we allow any and all outside vendors. We can house up to 50 guests in the 4 houses that are available on our property. We also allow camping anywhere on the 350 acre property and we have an awesome "glamping site" available for rent as well. We are a weekend rental with the ability to add on days before and after the event to prepare and to relax after. We also have no curfews and encourage you and your guests to party in the barn or around the firepit all night long.

Mountain View Stables was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, Jen, the owner, was incredibly responsive, helpful, passionate, and knowledgeable. We had our wedding at the Castle in the Clouds this past October, and oh my goodness they did not disappoint. First off, those views are incredible!! Everybody was commenting on how this was the most beautiful wedding venue they’ve ever been to! (You’ll also get some wonderful sunset and golden hour photos!) Second, the staff there is amazing!! From the wedding coordinators to the set up crews and staff that helps your wedding day go smoothly, they were all absolutely amazing! I was a little worried that all of the little details wouldn’t work out, but the Castle staff made everything happen and then some!! They exceeded my expectations and I’m so impressed!! If you can, please get married here!!! It will be the best decision you’ll ever make!
