We host weddings of up to 225 people, and can provide seating and tables for that many guests. The Mint Barrel Barn is a stunning, gambrel-style barn that was built in 1910. The barn’s earliest years are a mystery, but in later years it was used as a mint still. Huge quantities of local peppermint crops were distilled into mint oil, stored in large barrels, and sold across the nation to manufacturers of gum, mouthwash, toothpaste, and candy. Companies like Wrigley’s, Crest, Colgate, and LifeSavers paid top dollar for mint oil for their products. Since 2006, the Fulfer family has owned the barn, lovingly maintained it, and opened it up to friends and family as a warm and memorable gathering space for countless events. Owner, Kapri Maupin (Fulfer), wanted more people to be able to experience the history and make memories in the one-of-a-kind barn, so in 2018 she started upgrading and beautifully restoring the property. The barn now retains its historic beauty and is upgraded with all the amenities needed for a 21st century event.

We offer a cultivated family environment where you can enjoy nature. Events and workshops let you relax and our local products come straight from farm to table. Cool Water Events is not just a wedding venue, it's a whole experience. With its rich history, stunning views, and unique amenities, there is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether you're a history buff, nature lover, or just looking for a relaxing getaway, you won't be disappointed. The property dates back over 100 years when it was a dairy, and more recently, a boys' school. The barn, which has been refurbished, can be used for pictures and has a 1900s doctor's buggy and a Model T for those wanting to take a trip down memory lane. Plans to rebuild the silo on the west side of the barn are in the works, and much of the original wood will be used on the exterior to maintain its authenticity.

Honalee Farm is located between Eagle and Star and dates back to 1922 where the Otto Muller Family had a dairy farm. The original dairy barn was built in 1927, was restored and is now used as living quarters. The silo built in 1939 is one of the most prominent landmarks on Moon Valley Road. The rural serenity of this special place and state of the art event center with a large pond and fountain, a flowing stream, spacious lawn, extensive landscaping and abundant parking is the perfect spot for your special event.
