He was such a pleasure to meet with ahead of time and asked us tons of questions to really understand our vision for the evening. He was truly a delight and even wore black, per my very annoying request :) He also had me get on the DJ board (just pretending) and it was a huge hit! Very fun, very adaptable! Summit Events Co. uses an app for all of your music and timeline needs and it was SUPER easy to use. It connects to Spotify, Youtube, and a few other platforms so I could just upload my playlists I had already worked on and it made everything really fast. We also got a photobooth which was AMAZING. It's hard to know when planning a wedding what is worth the extra cost but this hands down was worth it. Our attendant was such an angel and multiple people came up to me after to tell me how cool she was! Their pricing is super reasonable - very in line with other vendors I found and Ben was able to accommodate our specific budget while still making our vision come to life. We admittedly had a notable list of must plays & "play if possible" songs, with some comments about certain parts of the song we wanted to get played or any specific announcements we wanted DJ Chuck to do with a certain song, and he got everything right, transitioned each song perfectly & maintained the integrity of each song, which is exactly what we wanted from our DJ (vs. a lot of remixing with quick transitions). “I was blown away by the talent of the musicians, they really take their craft seriously. I requested a Roaring Twenties theme from Louis Pettinelli and they went above and beyond to make it happen. The singer Karlea was phenomenal and did an amazing job of keeping our guests engaged and entertained. The musicians were all courteous, professional, and exceptionally talented. They dressed appropriately for our wedding theme and many of the guests at the Hawthorne Hotel wanted to take pictures with Karlea in her Twenties attire. In addition to being a wonderful experience, they were also a great value for the price. These are top quality musicians and we paid a reasonable price for the band. I highly recommend this group for your wedding.”

Saroj James Hyoju, got into DJ industry upon walking into Latin club in Dallas, Texas in 2015. Coming from band background, he was surprised to see how people were moved by “Gasolina”, a reggaeton song. Observing how DJ was controlling the crowd’s energy while enjoying himself, this made him curious about club music genres, besides metal and rock. Following immediately, he hosted a Bring Your Own Beer (BYOB) house party, where 50 people showed up. A week later, he was invited to co-DJ at one of his friends’ wedding reception and rest is the history.

Not only is the a fantastic DJ and did a great job with music, MC'ing/keeping a good flow, setting the perfect uplighting, but he also played the saxophone!!! It was so magical and everyone loved it!
