“Hiring Luna Co was one of the best decisions we made in planning a 250-guest wedding in only six months! We knew we wanted to do a lot of the planning ourselves and were initially reluctant to use a professional planner/coordinator, but with Luna Co's partial planning option, we got the best of all worlds and an incredible value for the many services that Alexandra, Jazmin, and Sophia provided. The Luna Co team kept track of our vendor contracts, joined calls with vendors whenever we wanted them to, and helped keep us organized with regular check-ins throughout the planning process. They offered recommendations, advised us on logistical questions, and focused on what was most important to us. For example, we had 20 kids at our reception, and the Luna Co team helped us come up with a "kid zone" and coordinated with our caterer to make sure kids' meals were ready a little before the adults ate dinner. On our wedding weekend, Alexandra joined for our ceremony rehearsal, and I don't know what we would have done without her. We had an interfaith (Catholic Jewish) ceremony, so it was a little outside everyone's comfort zone and there was no real template to follow, but Alexandra took charge in the most kind yet firm way and made sure everyone knew what was happening and all of the items we needed were organized and stored safely. It honestly relieved so much stress that day knowing she would be on hand for the ceremony itself. And then on the day of the wedding, we were truly able to just be present and enjoy the moment with our loved ones, because the Luna Co team handled everything behind-the scenes. That included an impressive turnaround reception setup (since we couldn't access our reception venue until later in the day), troubleshooting various misplaced decor materials, and gracefully finding spots for two surprise (but wanted!) guests. Throughout the process, the team was prompt, responsive, and professional. They were easy and fun to work with. We know our large guest count and unique venue made our wedding logistically challenging, but the Luna Co team was always encouraging, positive, and found ways to make things possible. We would highly recommend Luna Co to anyone and everyone!”

“Our wedding at the Forest Park Golf Club was absolutely outstanding! Lexi was stellar helping us when we first visited, learning about the different package options, and finding out that we could make the dream of having our wedding reception in Forest Park come true! Maddie did more than we could ever have hoped for as our coordinator, helping us with decorating ideas, arranging all of the details, and getting everything set up perfectly on the day of the reception. We made some additions the week of the wedding that the club accommodated seamlessly. They made everything as easy as it could have been. Our photographer was in an accident on the wedding day (oh no!) which pushed back the timing of the wedding. We arrived later than planned at the reception. Maddie was waiting outside with golf carts so we could immediately dash away for pictures at the Grand Basin- after she made a quick dash into the club to bring out some emergency finger nail tools! And the pictures around the Grand Basin: sunset reflecting on the water behind us… so beautiful! And the food! The drinks! The service! Everything was absolutely outstanding. Me and my bride never got our own drinks- the servers were frequently asking us for anything we would like. It truly exceeded the dreams we had of what our Forest Park wedding reception could be!”

“We hired DJ Rachel for our wedding reception in October 2022. From our first call through the event, we enjoyed the experience and appreciated her support! Rachel was very helpful during the planning stage. Her thoughtful questions helped us determine what we wanted from the evening, and Rachel gave us key input on the schedule of events. Rachel thought critically about the energy of different events we wanted (ex: group photo, cake cutting, table dash) and provided suggestions for best flow. Rachel was organized, responsive, and communicated clearly. We appreciated Rachel's suggestions on how to pick songs for our "want to play" list - it was a fun trip down memory lane, and probably our favorite part of wedding planning! On the day of our event, Rachel's leadership made the day go smoothly. Rachel was prepared, organized, and energetic. She seamlessly guided us, the other vendors, and the wedding party through the evening, and gave the wedding party notice on the next events (like their speeches!). This allowed us and our wedding party to focus on enjoying the day instead of the schedule. Rachel encouraged us to try a "Table Dash" - going to each table of guests for a quick photo while one song plays. It was so fun, and Rachel's willingness to try this idea (and seamless execution) was critical to making it happen. This also allowed us to get at least one photo with each guest, a treasured memory. Rachel's mix of experience, enthusiasm, and calming presence helped the first few hours of our wedding run smoothly. During the dancing time, we could not have been more happy with how DJ Rachel performed. Her energy was so fun and kept our guests dancing all night! Rachel read the room to keep things flowing and played the perfect mix of throwbacks, slow songs, and hits from our list of songs. We appreciated how DJ Rachel was thoughtful of the guest age/types regarding explicit and mature songs. DJ Rachel had high quality equipment and lights, including speakers for the outside garden area and two microphones. Multiple guests asked us if DJ Rachel was in the wedding party, and also asked where we found such a great DJ. More than one guest said "best wedding DJ ever", and we agree wholeheartedly! Rachel also supported our "vow renewal", a surprise for our guests! We would not have done this without Rachel's support and encouragement, and it was a blast! One example from the dance floor - DJ Rachel played "Copperhead Road" and led the dance floor in the line dance. The dance includes rotating so a different part of the dance floor is the "front" throughout the song. DJ Rachel ran around the dance floor to lead as the group turned, so guests could always see her to follow the line dance steps. I have never seen a DJ put in that much effort - it was incredible and helped people really get down the steps and have fun in the dance. Just one example of how DJ Rachel went above and beyond to make the day successful. Rachel made working together remotely easy. We planned our wedding from out of state, and Rachel was integral to making this successful - phone calls, zoom calls, a google doc were all tools that Rachel used to facilitate the long distance planning. Rachel also accepted Venmo which made paying easy (no need to remember a check!). “New to St. Louis and planning a wedding was a stressful combination. We did not know what vendors to book for our wedding day, or have any family or friends in the area with recommendations, so we went with a company called George Street Photo and Video. Thank God we did, because they put us in touch with Brooke who went above and beyond my wildest dreams!!!! From day one, Brooke was a joy to work with. Neither my husband or I had been in front of a camera before for any type of photoshoot, and we felt awkward and uncomfortable ... for about 2 seconds.
