The Franklin of Soulard is an elegant, spacious event venue located in the charming neighborhood of Soulard. Constructed in 1905, this historic venue provides a timeless backdrop for your event - day or night. Our elegant ballroom boasts 30-foot ceilings with lots of natural light from bordering windows, shimmering golden chandeliers, a beautifully framed 30-foot-wide stage, and a candlelit mezzanine to bring a warm glow to your evening. This grand space can entertain up to 300, with no shortage of AirBnBs and surrounding hotels to make celebrations even easier for travelling guests! Our Ballroom features 30 foot ceilings, double oak doors, 5 individually dimmable chandeliers, a 30 foot wide stage, two sided bar and cocktail lounge with photo wall. Food and beverages are taken care of in house. Large Bridal suite to be used however our couples needs, included with booking.

THE BEST WEDDING VENUE & PEOPLE
How do I even begin?! From the moment we stepped into The Franklin, we knew the venue and the staff were something truly special. Having our wedding there was the best decision we could have made. We felt like family from day one. We cannot say thank you enough to Christina, Danny, Cate, Emily, and the entire Franklin team. You made our dreams come true. No detail ever went unnoticed—from the countless emails, calls, and texts you all answered immediately, to our beautiful private tasting (which genuinely felt like sampling dishes from an upscale restaurant, not your typical wedding food), to always opening the doors for us whenever we needed to plan something out or practice our first dance and calm our nerves. The venue itself is the perfect blend of elegant and historic—every corner feels intentional and magical. Everything ran so smoothly on our big day. Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the staff was, how quickly the team served such a large group during dinner, how good the drinks and food were (especially our signature cocktails!), and how insanely beautiful and romantic the venue is. Wonderful Venue for a Wedding Reception
What an outstanding place to have our Son and Daughter-in-Law's reception. Danny and Christina and are joy to work with. I highly recommend the Franklin of Soulard.
The Franklin is magic!
The Franklin is magic! When the reception venue we had originally booked cancelled on us, we were devastated. In a scramble to find a new venue with our date still available, we found The Franklin. The staff and owners were so kind, generous and accommodating. In the end, it was a blessing that we got to have our reception here instead. It was everything we dreamed of and more! And one HUGE shout out to the chef. I have celiac disease so food at weddings is always a challenge. The chef took mine and all of my guests food restrictions very seriously and I felt so safe. On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious. I could not recommend this venue enough. They will take good care of you like they took care of us!
