“Brian is one of the best wedding DJs in the business. In the past two years I’ve been to eight different weddings. Brian was the DJ for three of the eight, and the party/reception component of the events was never more fun than when Brian was driving the bus. He is an east coast DJ, but he spun tracks at both of my sister-in-laws’ weddings and as we were searching for a DJ for our own wedding we reached out just to see what he would charge for a wedding in Chicago. Turns out the price was right. Brian traveled to Chicago, MC’d our entire wedding, brought all of the equipment necessary and made our day exceptional in every way. I think there are a few things that really set Brian apart from other wedding DJs. Anyone can stand there and run through a playlist, but Brian went off book a few times to match and capture the energy of the guests. As we were in the midst of the planning process he added zero stress, and just calmly walked us through the process of selecting songs. He had suggestions and recommendations along the way. He even brought an extra speaker so that we could plug our digital piano in and the pianist would be able to play loudly enough. Overall, we can’t recommend Brian highly enough. You will not regret choosing him to DJ at your wedding, party, event. Whatever it is, Brian is a huge value add and a pleasure to work with.”

“I recently officiated a wedding that Scott dj'ed and handled the sound for, and I really wanted to send him a special thank you for being such a great professional and great human. I've officiated 6 weddings for friends but this was the first one post-Covid, and Scott's professionalism and flexibility really made a huge difference for me and the anxiety I was feeling after a long lay-off from this sort of thing... making me feel a lot more comfortable and able to relax and enjoy the event and do a really excellent job for the bride and groom. I am confident when it comes to finding the words and performing the ceremony, but worrying about the sound equipment and cues is a big source of stress for me. It's hard to be fully present as an officiant while trying to remember the cues and technical details other DJs kind of just dictated to me. Scott was the first wedding dj who, when I wanted to avoid dealing with a hand mic or that sort of thing, just had the attitude of "no problem, you worry about your job, and I'll make sure you sound great." Instead of "remember these technical details and cues or else the audio will be lousy". And on top of that he just has a really great, encouraging, positive attitude. It's obvious from a mile away he loves what he does, and that making wedding days special is a calling for him and not just a gig or job. His energy radiates into everyone around him. I've been in the military and private healthcare, and I'm just very cognizant of and appreciative of people who have a total mastery of what they do, and a great attitude that makes everyone around them more confident and makes the mission not just more successful but more enjoyable. This is the first time I've been so moved by a wedding vendor's performance and attitude that I tracked them down so I could thank them and write a review for them. “We had a phenomenal experience with Luis as our wedding DJ! Planning a wedding out of state (and in a different time zone) was quite a challenge and when starting the initial search for DJ's, Luis was the only one out of everybody we reached out to that didn't require us to get on a phone call to go over pricing, so that was an automatic green flag off the bat. From the moment we booked Luis, communication was present. I feel like a lot of people I've talked with book their DJ, have one meeting, and see them at the wedding, but that was not our experience with Luis. We had a few meetings, several text chains, and certainly felt the line was always open if we needed something. One of my favorite things was Luis' hype texts the week of as if he was one of our people actually attending the wedding. Luis did everything we wanted at the ceremony and reception in regard to announcements and mic ups. We left Luis in charge of the music selection for the reception and from our personal experience and a few friend's comments, he did a great job with his selection! Luis was great before the wedding, during the wedding, and even after the wedding, and I cannot recommend him enough!”

“We could rave about DJ Thrilla all day long, but in the words of our wedding guests: “Best dance floor we’ve seen in a long time!” It’s been weeks since our wedding and our guests can’t stop talking about how great the music was. Arthur did a great job with the ceremony and cocktail hour, and managed a tricky parent dance section (multiple sets of parents & timing!) We requested a Taylor Swift mashup and he exceeded expectations and made it the highlight of our night. The dance floor was always packed, and Arthur did a great job of taking into account our requests while playing music everyone would enjoy. We opted to use uplighting as well, which looked beautiful during dinner (we chose a warm lighting) and was so fun for the dance floor with flashing lights. By the end of the night, he even had guests asking him to travel to Texas to DJ their wedding! Booking DJ Thrilla was one of the best vendor decisions we made for our wedding and we could not recommend him more!”

“Shawn did an awesome job! He did the music for our wedding ceremony, the music for the reception, provided uplighting, and the photobooth. My now husband and I enjoyed working with Shawn. He is funny, easy going, and patient. His questionnaire is very detailed and is very helpful for pulling the music together for the day. He also was very focused on making sure my now husband and I heard what we wanted to hear for the music. During the ceremony, Shawn timed the music perfectly. We saw later watching videos that he even cut the microphone out for my brother, the officiant of the wedding, when my brother almost started talking over parents walking down the aisle. Thanks for that, Shawn! Later in the night, we had other challenges with our timeline due to longer than expected speeches, too many tables to say hi to, and my own indecisiveness. Shawn handled all these obstacles very smoothly, kept an eye on the crowd and helped us stay in tune with when we needed to get the dance floor going. He played the songs we requested and helped us out with choosing songs for younger people. Since the wedding went by so quickly, I think the thing I am most grateful for is all the photos and videos he took of the night. “We booked Collins Entertainment for our October wedding at the Interlaken Inn in Lakeville, CT. We had an unbelievably amazing experience with this company from the top to the bottom. Our DJ, Jared, was exceptional with music selection, a master emcee, was accommodating and seemed to be everywhere at once. My guests left saying he was the best DJ they've ever seen at a wedding for how many hits he put out. He was able to read the crowd really well, and knew how to get everyone on the dance floor. Jared had battery-powered setups for both the ceremony and reception, so we didn't have to worry about outlets in a remote area outdoors, which was very nice. Our planning sessions with Jim, Mitch, and Jared were comprehensive and they gave us all the tools we needed to succeed. The package price was very reasonable too, and was a leading factor for why we chose them as well. We used their mirror photo booth as well, which was very fun. The mirror booth even came with a long red carpet! The operator, Randall, was very accommodating and helpful with guests, making it fun and easy for everyone.
