MacMurphy's was started in 1987 by Ridgewood locals, Eileen Gilsenan-Smith and Scott Smith. For the past 27 years, they have created a hometown pub that feels like a home away from home for everyone. MacMurphy's is always involved in the Ridgewood community and is a part of the Ridgewood Guild.

Our historic house was built and finished in 1774 and was the home of New Jersey's first elected Governor William Livingston.
