Poppy Cart

5.0

  • Starts at $5,000
  • Serves North Quincy, MA

Founded in 2018, Poppy Cart creates bespoke, artful floral designs that celebrate the beauty of nature and the individuality of each client from coast to coast. Jacci and the team at Poppy Cart were an absolute dream to work with for our wedding. From our very first conversation, they demonstrated a collaborative, clear, friendly, and efficient communication style that put me at ease. It was clear Jacci listened and understood my vision for my wedding, because every flower and color in the bouquets, centerpieces, and other decor was intentional and beyond what I could have imagined. When I mentioned I wanted jasmine in my bouquet but couldn't find it locally, Jacci went above and beyond to source some growing nearby and included it, which brought me to tears - it was one of the highlights of the day. The quality of Poppy Cart's work is truly the very best you can get, and people would be silly not to hire them for their wedding. They made our special day even more meaningful and beautiful than I could have hoped for.

Wow — I couldn’t be more thrilled to have worked with Erica and Restless Spirit Floral for our wedding. It was truly one of the highlights of the entire day. I went to sleep dreaming about the flowers! Florals were one of the most important elements of our celebration, so I was deeply intentional about finding the right partner to bring our vision to life. To say Erica exceeded expectations would be a massive understatement. She went above and beyond in every sense, adding thoughtful surprises and deeply personal touches that showcased not only her talent and creativity but also her genuine care for her clients. From our very first conversation, I knew Erica got it. We came to her with a unique idea: seasonal, natural florals paired with cheeky, high-low New England coastal vibes. She met us there, and then some. She took the time to source the perfect details, from a duck vase (a nod to my spouse, nicknamed “Ducky”) to vintage Cape Cod vessels, and even mailed us old postcards of our wedding location, which, of course, we used for our table numbers. She surprised us by placing our high-top bouquets in Narragansett beer cans (my spouse’s go-to drink) and collaborated with us on a lobster trap altar — sourcing real traps and buoys from a retired fisherman she found on Facebook Marketplace. The level of effort and heart she poured into it all was unreal. And the arrangements themselves? Beyond anything I had imagined. Organic, expressive, and brimming with character. Erica let the florals speak for themselves while adding whimsical, meaningful touches that made everything feel alive and full of joy. Our vision wasn’t traditional, and it certainly wasn’t for everyone, but Erica listened, understood, and created a completely bespoke experience that felt true to us. I have no doubt she brings that same dedication and artistry to every couple lucky enough to work with her.

  • Serves North Quincy, MA

JNG Event Consulting is a floral and event design firm that services a select number of weddings, and events each year. We are as selective with our clients as they are with their vendors. Nearly all of our clients work with a full-service event planner, are referred to us by a venue coordinator, to a client who has worked with us. Often times we are asked by prospective clients if they need to be working with an event planner, or a venue coordinator, in order to engage our design services, and the answer is, “Yes.” We find that the process of designing an event is much more seamless when an event planner, or coordinator, is present.

Jimmy of JNG Event Consulting provides superior service, endless creativity and unique designs. He is a dream to work with and we love how elevated, elegant and magical his designs are!

Davis & Sawin Florist

5.0

  • Starts at $300
  • Serves North Quincy, MA

Passion blooms at our flower shop, where every petal is curated with love. As a dedicated florist, I infuse your special day with enchanting arrangements, creating a floral symphony that mirrors your unique love story. Let us weave the fragrant tapestry of your wedding day, where passion meets petals in perfect harmony.

I hired Davis and Sawin for my wedding in September. My mother in law and I met with Inshaal early on in the process and we knew immediately that she was our florist. I am not a colorful person and much prefer more muted tones and monochromatic coloring. Inshaal never made me feel like I had to stray from that. She offered suggestions and presented me with many options. She asked me questions I hadn't thought of before (and absolutely should have). She tidied up all of my lose strings and made me feel like I had at least one aspect of the wedding totally handled and organized. Our ceremony and reception looked beautiful thanks to Davis and Sawin. My bouquet was that of a dream. Inshaal made sure that my floral vision was executed perfectly. Thank you Davis & Sawin Florist for making my wedding perfect!

One of the most important components to me for our wedding was the flowers. I chose Poppy Flowers because of the look I wanted for the ceremony and reception and with the lower minimum cost required compared to other florists. We went with a pastel theme given we had a spring wedding. I had countless complements on the centerpieces at the reception – they were gorgeous. They were the perfect match for elegant look I wanted. My bouquet and my husband’s boutonniere were also beautiful and what we were expecting. The website was a little glitchy for me in a couple of instances (the IT people had to address the issues) – hopefully they have all of those issues resolved now. Aside from those minor issues, we were very pleased with our decision to go with Poppy. Thank you for providing the gorgeous flowers for our day!

Julian FAR exceeded our expectations. From the very beginning, they hit the proposal out of the park, perfectly nailing our vision for the big day in a clean and clear format. Julian was super responsive to our emails, which was reassuring living on the west coast and traveling to RI for the wedding. The price was super reasonable, and Julian lined up a rental for the floral stands we needed for the ceremony, which was so helpful not being local. And on the big day. Holy smokes, my bridal bouquet was everything I dreamed of and more!! Our wedding day was super hot, and Julian did everything in their power to keep the flowers looking fresh, even tweaking the bouquet and boutonnière as the day went on to remove some of the pieces that wilted. The ceremony flowers ended up a little wilted, but that was out of Julian’s control. If you’re looking for a florist, look no further. Julian was made for this job!

I started my business in 2018, after I finished floral design classes from Cass School of Floral in Watertown, MA. I have a little intern named Larry, a corgi-pit mix, who is the model for Little Blooms, who you will see a lot of on Instagram. I love using locally grown flowers as much as I can in my work, to really showcase 'farm to florist'.

At Nectar & Vessel our ethos is sustainability + bliss-forward designs. We specialize in arrangements that are full of texture, unique and lush. We crave the weirdo flowers, the heirloom varieties and mixing in contrasting natural elements. We don't try to be on-trend, rather we are intuitive with the flower and our clients and let the flower speak to us.

Awarded Best of Zola
Working with Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel was truly an incredible experience. Aside from the marriage itself and celebrating with our loved ones, the floral design was the part of wedding-planning I was most excited about, so finding the right team to make it all happen was really important to me. From our first meeting, it was obvious how warm, talented, creative, professional, and enthusiastic Naomi is - she is so passionate and knowledgeable about what she does, and it really shows in her work. Naomi and her team went above and beyond to distill all of my ideas and wishes into a final cohesive vision that was more beautiful than I could have ever imagined! Everything Naomi and her team created was stunningly executed - from the bouquets, boutonnieres, and the gorgeous chuppah at our ceremony, to the lush arrangements, centerpieces, and hanging greenery at the cocktail hour and reception, to the magical floral clouds that hung over our dance floor. Many guests told me that these were the most beautiful floral designs that they had seen at any wedding they’ve ever been to - I’m still receiving compliments about them months later. We especially appreciated Naomi’s attention to detail (she and her team made little bouquets for guests to take home at the end of the evening that everyone loved), and how conscientious she is about sustainability (she uses reusable vessels for everything and doesn’t use disposable foam products - something that can be hard to come by in the floral industry). Writing this review was challenging because it’s so difficult to find the words to properly convey how beautiful everything was and how grateful we are for Naomi and her team’s work! We wholeheartedly recommend Naomi and her team at Nectar & Vessel to anyone looking for floral design for their wedding or event, and we are so thankful to have had them by our sides on our special day.

Ashley did such an amazing job with my wedding flowers. She was also very responsive, helpful and friendly. I was so thrilled with my personal bouquet and all the bridesmaids, as well as all the center pieces. I didn’t have very good direction for her (I simply said I liked simple, whites and greens) and when she sent me what she was thinking, she put time and thought into it and the results were stunning. On my wedding day, I absolutely loved the end results, and all this while staying within my budget. I would so highly recommend Ashley and Dazy Florist!

Working with Emily at Bell Brook Farm & Floral Design Studio was a choice we are so happy we made for our wedding day! I (bride) had seen their work at someone else's (Fall) wedding a couple of years back and the arrangements stuck in mind ever since... So I called! In preparation for our special day, we had a call with them to go over our aesthetic ideas and needs. Not only did the call help provide them with our hopes for the day, but it also helped give us a lot of valuable advice and suggestions that we ended up going with. Emily was great in her response, ability to accommodate some last minute changes, and meet our budget. On the day of our wedding, the flowers and foliage EXCEEDED our expectations. The arrangements matched our color scheme perfectly and gave the rich, summer garden vibe I was hoping for... honestly better than I could've imagined. When it comes to the logistics, BBF&FDS were very clear and upfront about costs and order of steps/information needed. They made sure to do their research on the venue's procedures and setup/broke down as scheduled. I definitely suggest using BBF&FDS for your special events! They are so talented and can make a bold, yet delicate, statement with whatever your vision is.

Designing for our couples is always such a diverse and unique experience and we love having the opportunity to tell your story through florals and design. You can trust that whether we are designing your florals or coordinating your day, both will be curated for you and your wedding dreams.

I wish there were more than 5 stars to give! I can't overstate how much I recommend Flowers by Jennifer. Jennifer has a gift for what she does, not just in creating gorgeous flower arrangements, but in her ability to work with a couple to truly understand what they want, even if perhaps the bride doesn't know herself, which was my case! She is professional, communicative, and extremely knowledgeable in her field. And maybe more importantly she is kind and a joy to work with. I never felt pressure or stress, she was always so positive. Jennifer asked thoughtful questions to ensure I was getting exactly what I wanted on my big day. I often gave her contradictory inspiration pictures and ideas, and she was able to sift through it all and, combined with my answers to her questions, create the most beautiful flower arrangements and bouquets I and my guests have ever seen. My family still talks about how beautiful the flowers were at my wedding. I will absolutely use Flowers by Jennifer for any and all of my flower needs going forward.

The flowers (on our order) came in large boxes, but they were not labeled, so it took a minute to get the flowers both identified and properly set up. To be fair we were warned about the process, but not about the length of time due to our inexperience. As a note, it took my fiancé 5 hours to process the flowers when first receiving them. I also did not have any updates from them from the time I ordered till they were being shipped. They were beyond more affordable compared to other florists, and the flowers arrived alive and in good spirits. We were able to keep the flowers alive for over four days!! Many of the flowers that we chose did not have specific instructions, so we had to follow the general reference for the flowers and hope for the best. Additionally, some of the flowers that we wanted were not in stock, and they were replaced for us with substitutes but were not notified until we had all of the flowers already delivered to us. Also, as a note, bloom culture uses third party sellers for their flowers, so the quality may vary depending on location. Our flowers were in good condition, and the company we had clearly took good care of the flowers prior to delivering them to us. Would we do it again? Probably not, but it made for good laughs and bonding time and we have stories to tell from it!

Hire Tracy!!! She is an absolute dream to work with. From our first meeting, she was sweet, detailed, and genuinely wanted us to be happy. We put a lot of trust in her since we know nothing about florals, shared some inspiration, and she ran with it and exceeded every expectation. The colors and arrangements were stunning, especially our ceremony backdrop pieces, which popped beautifully in photos, they made every shot glow and brought so much life to our pictures. So many of our guests keep telling us how amazing our flowers were. Her attention to detail extended to everything, from the adorable bud vases she used for smaller arrangements, the wrap on the bouquets, to the unique boutonnieres. Tracy was super responsive throughout the process, offered ways for us to be involved if we wanted, and went above and beyond to make everything look incredible. I would hire her in a heartbeat for any future event, she made our flowers unforgettable!
