Rachael and her team were absolutely amazing for our wedding whenever I had a question about the venue I knew I would get a very quick response from Rachael days leading up to the wedding. We kept our eye out on the forecast, hoping to have the ceremony outside in the garden however, with the rain we had to have it inside, but it was still absolutely perfect, they were able to get it, so that way you didn’t see everything underneath the tent during the ceremony and most of the time you didn’t even know they were there.

I can't speak enough about how easy it was to work with everyone at 26 West. They let us tweak the menu for our rehearsal dinner, and with views of the Navesink from upstairs it was a great night. The service was spot on, and in a day and age where there is a shortage of staff, they made sure everything was taken care of. Anything that anyone else needed they were on top of.

My husband, Ryan, and I had our wedding at Windows on the Water this June, and it was truly magical, everything we had ever dreamed of, and more. We’ve always loved the water, so we toured several venues with waterfront views. The moment we walked into Windows on the Water, it was breathtaking! We knew instantly this was where we wanted to say “I do.” When we booked WoW, Ryan’s health was uncertain. He had been diagnosed with cancer just months earlier. We held onto the hope of creating the dream wedding we envisioned, even though at times it felt like an unattainable goal. Thankfully, Ryan responded quickly to treatment, his health improved dramatically, and we continued planning. From the very start, Mike H. was nothing short of amazing. We shared our story, and his support and genuine care went far beyond a business transaction. He understood our journey, and his check-ins throughout the months leading up to the wedding made us feel special and hopeful that our dream would become a reality. Prior to the big day, Cheryl was a lifesaver, patiently answering all my questions and guiding us through the details . On our wedding day, she managed everything with such professionalism and care that all we had to do was enjoy the moment. It was a heatwave that day, but the staff went above and beyond, attending to our every need and even making sure we stayed hydrated! Every detail was perfect from how they arranged our decor to planning everything. We’ve heard countless compliments from our guests, about the delicious food, the stunning views, and how it was the best wedding they had ever attended. Even months later, people are still raving about it! We feel incredibly grateful, not only that Ryan’s health improved, but that we were able to live our dream day surrounded by our friends and family. Our wedding will forever be the most wonderful and meaningful day of our lives, and we owe so much of that to Mike, Cheryl, and the entire WoW team. If you want to get married somewhere with a gorgeous view, with incredible food and the most attentive staff then run, don’t walk, to Windows on the Water!

This venue doesn't just host your event, they make the event special and authentically personalized to you! The Grand Oaks team went above and beyond with our wedding day. We had zero stress because every detail was handled perfectly—the setup, food, drinks, and service were all exceptional. Our guests raved about the food, the friendly bartenders, and the overall atmosphere being stunning, well maintained, and generally gorgeous. The venue even took us around the golf course for photos in a golf cart, which was such a fun touch! The staff at Grand Oaks were all also fantastic! Amanda and Alyssa are amazing event planners and made our planning process so clear every step of the way! The incredible Maitre'Ds (especially, Monica) and Wedding Attendant Staff took care of our families and wedding party as if we were their own. My husband and I absolutely loved our wedding at the Montauk Club, and our guests loved it too! The gorgeous architecture and interiors photograph so beautifully. Victoria and Elena from the catering company, Purslane, were wonderful to work with. They were responsive, professional, and helped us every step of the way. My husband and I got engaged in December and married 6 months later in June 2025. It was a tight timeline for planning a wedding, but the event was elegant and so much fun from start to finish. Elena invited us to a tasting so we could choose our menu and linens and she expertly coordinated with our other vendors. We had a seven-piece band and 130 guests, and I loved that this venue could accommodate a dance floor for our friends while also having a bunch of charming, quiet spots for people to sit and mingle. Having a close friend play the Montauk Club's grand piano during our ceremony was just perfect. My husband and I researched and toured several venues in the city and outside it--we felt the Montauk Club had the best value when it came to the amount of space, the beauty of the space, and the convenience of having catering included. Prospect Park is steps away for outdoor photos, and there are plenty of bars within walking distance that would be great for an afterparty. The wedding also came with the perk of 1 year of free membership at the club. I'm writing this review from the club right now, and I love bringing friends around for a drink on the terrace. This venue has so much character and charm!

We couldn't have asked for a more perfect wedding venue than Threes Brewing in Gowanus. From the very beginning, Angie and Dave, the coordinators, were an absolute dream to work with. They were incredibly responsive and proactive, thinking of every detail so we didn't have to (Angie even kept an eye on the Doppler for us!). They likened themselves to built in Planner, and they delivered! On the night of the wedding, the amazing staff, including Fletcher, Sarah, and countless others, made sure we were fed and taken care of far beyond closing time. They were not only professional but also genuinely fun, leaning into our theme and even dancing along with us. The space itself was exactly what we envisioned. The backyard was a beautiful, intimate setting for our ceremony with its gorgeous greenery, while the main bar provided a perfect, open yet cozy aesthetic for our welcome drinks and dancing. The flow between the two spaces felt seamless and comfortable for all our guests. And the food! Our guests are still raving about the delicious meal from Grand Army. Bacchus is a truly incredible little restaurant and a great place for a wedding. The food is great and we were able to put together a really special menu with them. Meryl their on staff event coordinator was amazing to work with and handled all the logistics of our big day with true French laissez faire ease. Having priced out a variety of caterers/event space/furniture rental options in addition to Bacchus, this is really a very cost effective and absolutely lovely place to get married near downtown Brooklyn.

You may chose to get married in our gardens which can be found throughout the whole property. Guests will love exploring and walking around the grounds during some off periods of the event. A first floor house tour is also an option so you and your guests get to see the beauty of Liberty Hall Museum.

There were quite a bit of rules and miscommunications along the way. This made the experience, especially during the end of the engagement season and the actual wedding day a bit dramatic and exhausting. However, this could be avoided if every single detail is ironed out from the very beginning and you are giving consistent reminders of what you're anticipating your day to be like. Overall, the venue is gorgeous and every single area of it is grounds for awesome photo-ops. On a gorgeous day, you will absolutely not regret choosing this location. Not only is it super affordable, but they also give you the freedom to pick your other vendors to create your ideal wedding (as almost everything else is kind of "a la carte"). A bonus is that you get the whole grounds on your wedding day, so that's exciting for you and your guests!

We planned our wedding with Aline and Melissa and everything was perfect. They even worked with us to make sure our timing and lighting would be great in the barrel room for our ceremony. Both Aline and Melissa helped us figure out vendors (including porta potty!) that would work for the space. The space itself is perfect- gorgeous historical castle! Bourbon barrel room? So dreamy and exactly what we wanted to celebrate our marriage, and our time in brooklyn. We had friends go over earlier to help the KCD team set up. Everyone was so helpful and understood what we wanted for our wedding day. The entire team was responsive, helpful, and cared about our plans. Due to some of the liquor laws the distillery works within, Melissa helped us find the perfect beer and wine. We did a cocktail testing before the event to decide on what we’d serve. Anything we would have picked would have been awesome - but we decided on a strawberry bourbon smash and the old fashion. The bar tenders were amazing. Our day was so perfect, and the staff really made it possible. I want to do the same wedding again and again.

Our guests and we had a wonderful experience at Le District at our wedding in May 2022. Since our family abroad couldn't make it to the wedding, we were only looking for a space to host a dinner for our 50 or so friends and we thought about Liberty Bistro in Le District since we used to live in the BPC area and had brunch there and we thought the interior design was beautiful and the size of the place fit our needs perfectly. The location is just perfect by the waterfront with an amazing river view and there is also an oval lawn right outside in which we thought about doing the ceremony but unfortunately, we eventually had to do it at Belvedere Plaza 200 feet away since it just so happened that the lawn was closed for maintenance that day. The Liberty Bistro restaurant was able to book out the entire indoor dining space for us without venue fees provided that we meet a spending minimum on food and wine. We had a great experience nailing down the food and drink menu with them - the restaurant had great options and communications were effortless. We were able to bring our own flowers and balloons and our friends DIY'ed the decorations though there wasn't too much to decorate since the space already looked nice and sweet. We also had our own seating plan which involved moving the tables and chairs and Le District was able to help us with it too, apart from the booths which cannot be physically moved. The night went smoothly; we were able to hook up an iPad to the sound system and play our own hand-picked wedding playlist; The guests enjoyed a 3-course prix-fixe menu (with additional vegetarian options); we also did our first dance under the beautiful tree in the center of the restaurant. At the end of the night, when we net out a few hundred under the min. spend, the restaurant was able to throw in a couple of champagne bottles for us to take home. We wish we could share photos of that wonderful evening to show how great it was and we really appreciate Le District for the great food and drinks, service, and communications, and just for being the place where it all happened.

Meadowsweet

With high ceilings and white washed brick walls, the sun-filled room features original tile floors, dating back to the early 1900s. Antique long leaf heart pine, sourced from the Hudson Company and estimated to be between 300 and 600 years old, is repurposed for walls, tabletops and the uniquely designed bar with wrap-around seating. Lempert, inspired by 18th century scientific botanical engravings, collaborated with Flavor Paper to design wallpaper featuring the namesake Meadowsweet herb, and it’s seen throughout the restaurant in various iterations. Her photos, taken on the family’s property upstate, feature plants, vegetables and herbs and are also found throughout the restaurant. Bringing life to the space, a lofted mezzanine herb garden above the bar, which was created in collaboration with Brooklyn Grange, overlooks the dining room and features fresh rosemary, lemon thyme and mint, among others, used for cocktails.

We cannot recommend Casa Ora enough. From our first time dining at Casa Ora, we were greeted with such wonderful hospitality and food. We felt as if we were family! We were originally going to host our wedding shower with 60 people in Casa Ora, but ended up going with their new sister restaurant 2 doors down, at Lulla's Bakery. The space was SO beautiful. From the furniture to the decor to the color choices, we loved every part of it. The drinks were spectacular as always. We had the best night of our lives at Peasant celebrating our wedding. We chose this restaurant because we always loved the food and romantic cozy atmosphere. When we had to quickly pivot our wedding plans to a smaller venue (4 weeks from our date!), they were our first call. The team at Peasant sprang into action and delivered the wedding we always dreamed of. We had our ceremony in front of the beautiful brick oven. We barely decorated the space because it's already so gorgeous. Our 70 guests sat at long tables for an incredible family style meal. The space quickly transformed into a dance floor, and a friend of ours DJ'd our favorite music. If you're looking for an intimate venue where you can relax and soak up the pure joy of your wedding day, Peasant has the vibes. Our guests still rave about the rigatoni alla vodka, the espresso martinis, and the kindness of the team months later. We keep going back for dates because we can't possibly get enough, and Peasant will always hold a special place in our hearts.
